Evolutionary theology and interfaith dialogue manifesto

Topic: Spiritual GrowthBy Frank RaPublished Recently added

Evolutionary theology (http://web.amareway.net/holisticliving/07/evolutionary-theology-and-interfaith-dialogue-manifesto/) is the awareness that wholeness is just a name, and that it has gone under different names, in different names, along the course of history. Evolutionary theology is just a pointer: God was not born, and has not changed. What evolves other time is the way we describe oneness. That's ever changing: it is influenced by the context we live in, and in turns it influnces the context itself by shaping our daily practices. Evolutionary theology is not the same as interfaith dialogue. Evolutionary theology is just a pointer: all religions explain, in their own terms suitable for the time/place they were conceived, oneness. This means we have all the reasons to dialogue no matter what our faith is, or is not. Truly religious leaders ask for people to live in harmony, because we are all equal, all deserving and all different in our uniqueness. The terms interfaith or interfaith dialogue refer to cooperative, constructive and positive interaction between people of different religious, spiritual or humanistic views. It is active both the individual and institutional levels, building on similarities between faiths, understanding of values, and commitment to the world. The Dalai Lama has done a great deal of interfaith work throughout his life, stating that the "common aim of all religions, an aim that everyone must try to find, is to foster tolerance, altruism and love". This leaves us with the last questio
"What's the Evolutionary theology's interfaith dialogue manifesto?". An answer of ours: there is none. What is manifest is oneness.
