The phrase “holy instant” comes from A Course in Miracles. Virtually all of humanity, to one degree or another, is hypnotized to believe that they are a physical body, separate from God and separate from one another. However, in truth this is complete illusion! Our thoughts and beliefs create our reality, but they don’t create truth. Just because we think we are separate bodies does not make it true!
The Spiritual path is very simple! We don’t have to try and become God! We already are Gods, always have been, always will be, are so right now. All else is illusion. So we don’t have to try and become God. We just have to decide to disidentify with our physical bodies and identify with our God Self (also called: Monad, Mighty I AM Presence or Ete
al Self). We just have to open our eyes to the reality that:
In this holy instant, I am the Christ, you are the Christ, we all are the Christ.
In this holy instant, I am the Buddha, you are the Buddha, we all are the Buddha.
In this holy instant, I am the Ete
al Self, you are the Ete
al Self, we all are the Ete
al Self.
The Integrated Ascended Master continually reminds himself that he is holy and divine this very instant. All he has to do is let go of the illusionary thinking that he is anything less than a Son and/or Daughter of God – right here and right now, in this holy instant!
