The human being is a coupled unit of the body and the mind. For a comprehensive well-being, their combined and interactive harmony should be considered. Neither of them can be independent in their wellness.

People are generally satisfied with their physical health so long as they do not fall sick. That, no doubt, forms a sound basis for good health. However, there are higher levels of physical health than just not falling sick. Let us consider the level of health corresponding to not being ill as the first level of good health. When the health falls below this level, we fall sick. Above this, there can be a second level which signifies a situation where one feels euphoric just being alive. The interesting thing about this second level is that, while below the first level one becomes sick and so is conscious of the body in a sad way, above the second level one becomes aware of the body in a joyous way. We feel quite light, like a feather. In between those two levels, people are not generally conscious of their bodies at all. Once we see the significance of the second level, we polarize our attention to discover how to reach that level and retain the health above it. We become intrigued by the ways the body responds to such attention. It leads to a sweet challenge and the fun arising out of it can keep us inspired about the higher levels of physical health.

Above the second level, there can be a third level where it becomes conducive for the synergism between the body and mind to take place. At that level, one loves life for its own sake. Higher dimensions of consciousness begin to impact us in our daily lives.
With regard to the mind, however, the situation is not that simple. Human beings generally allow themselves to be caught in a conventional rut that gradually takes away the vibrancy from their lives. Childlikeness and the spirit of adventure drain out. However, once we are prepared to learn and cooperate with the mind from the esoteric point of view, the matter becomes interesting. We begin to discover that mere DOs and DON’Ts cannot bring about lasting peace of mind. Self-awareness and the associated discovery of how the thought-ridden mind engenders its own attrition help one usher in mental harmony. The noisy mind becomes quiet without any coercive control over it. Self-understanding leads to a calmness that is unforced and natural. This aspect of mental well-being is familiar to those who have looked into the messages of the Masters like J. Krishnamurti, Ramana Maharishi and Eckhart Tolle.

Once the above aspects of the body and the mind are brought about in a robust way, their synergism can be looked into. That region of application becomes a venerable occupation for those eager to discover what lies beyond the apparent.
Human beings who have gone that far pay attenton to one's whole being. This brings about in them a unified approach to dealing with the body and mind. A natural austerity sets in and guides them into the deeper realms of our consciousness. Their lives are characterized by inner harmony and compassion towards all living beings, irrespective of egoistic identifications. They generate enough positive vibrations that augment planetary transformation towards making this Earth an extraordinary place of peace, harmony and joy. No violence, no terrorism, no wars, no nothing!

Many people who go through a near death experience understand the esoteric value of the body and the mind and bring about their synergism. This helps those people lead a life of natural austerity in which neither the body nor the mind is put to wrong use. Consequently, their psychological evolution is accentuated by the positive feedback between the body and the mind.

The variety of textures and colors created a canopy of fanciful head adornments. “She” intently studied each hat, wondering which one would come home with her someday.r
