HOW TO THINK LIKE A MILLIONAIRE (PART ONE FROM "INSPIRATIONAL BOOKS")
Author's Note: This short piece is written in point form from notes nthat I have collected over the years (sorry, sources unknown).
Did the principles work??? That's the subject of my next work...
Thought almost without exception precedes the accomplishment.
Because "thoughts are things".
1. THE FIRST STEP TO RICHESnDevelop a GREAT DESIRE to accomplish your goals.
How to make the law of accrual work for you - the habit of daily growth
A great DESIRE is the "fire-power" that builds success in any field of endeavour. Start with a mental cleansing of your mind, your most powerful weapon on the stairway to success. Picturing (visualisation) can aid immensely in making your dream come true. Learn to take one step at a time; because one thing leads to another.
Big deals/steps grow from little idea seeds (the principle of steady growth at work). Eg. the fable of little acorn.
When you appear stuck, "spinning your wheels" and you don't know what to do next, meditate and pray. I find this a great help and calming influence.
Carefully tend to the Law of Accrual.
Affirm: "I am going to be a millionaire."
Your subconscious mind will then act on that thought (through the power of focus)...and this very article is a product of my thinking.
N.B: There is no limit to what you can accomplish. So "point your own finger of destiny".
2. The Second Step to RICHES:
HOW TO DEVELOP A MONEY CONSCIOUSNESS: Raise your level of consciousness.
The Power of Controlled Focus. Zero in on a monetary target.
However, always bear in mind that possessing money for its own sake is worthless, I believe; however, money gives one choices, a freedom: to do with it what one chooses. To provide security for your family, to purchase things that give one pleasure, or use it for good to help others.
A scrapbook with motivating pictures is helpful in this - through focussing and imprinting what we want to achieve on the sub-conscious mind.
"Whatever the mind can conceive, can be achieved."n- JW Von Goethe
Always strive for BALANCE in your action plan - to think like a millionaire..
Develop an ATITUDE OF EXPECTANCY. KNOW that one day you will achieve your goal. Be rich in mind, body, spirit...and money. Develop an insatiable curiosity about the world and how it "works".
Grow a little in wealth and mind power every day.
Read books (like mine - plug, plug!)
Develop contacts to help you move ahead in your grand vision...and in return you can help many other people on your path to success.
Develop the amazing power of FAITH.
"Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep onnsaying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possiblenthat I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On thencontrary, if I shall have the belief that I can do it, I shall surelynacquire the capacity to do it, even if I may not have it at thenbeginning."n- Mahatma Gandhi
N.B: Use the power of the "magic" additive of IMAGINATION, the greatest force in the world.
There is tremendous power in imagination. Albert Einstein: "Imagination is more important than knowledge." Napoleon believed "the human race is governed by it's imagination."
Pascal: "Imagination disposes of everything; it creates beauty, justice and happiness, which is everything in this world."
Pascal also once said: "Our achievements of today are but the sum total of our thoughts of yesterday. You are today where the thoughts of yesterday have brought you, and you will be tomorrow where the thoughts of today take you."
Possessions won't bring happiness, but happiness will bring possessions.
VISUALISE attaining your goals and aspirations in life.
"See it first and you WILL achieve it."
So,
BE HAPPY, as you slide down "the razor-blade or rapids of life"*nn* that's a metaphor, btw

He thinks in secretnand it comes to pass -nenvironment is but his looking glass."n- author unknownnn(Thanks so much for sharing with me, dad!)
P.S: I hope that the principles mentioned in this article will help you down life's jou
ey...and this is my reason for sharing.
