HOW TO THINK YOUR WAY TO SUCCESS n
The Vital Importance of Developing a Winning Attitude - nin Sport and in Life:
Authors Note:
This extract is from 'The Winning Mind', an e-book by Craig Lock written by a layman and sports fanatic to enhance (hopefully) the performance of all sportsmen and women throughout the world - no matter their level of skill or abilities.
Positive attitudes fuel the fire of achievement in people'snlives. Superstars, like boxer Sugar Ray Leonard and Carl Lewisnare the epitomies of positive thinking superstar sportsmen. Anpositive attitude is the single most important factor for successnin life. Health-conscious, gym-going people epitomise* positiventhinking.n n* Like that fancy word, "epitomise", which I'm using sonfrequently.
Your attitude. Is it "the right attitude? It's something many ofnus take for granted. "Why should I worry about my attitude?" -nyou say. "If people can't get along with me, that's thei
problem!"
If you carry a negative attitude around with you every day, younare closing the doors of opportunities in your life. We are allnexposed to negative thinking, "poor-attitude" people - they'reneverywhere. With all the negative input that we receive from ournfriends, family, bosses, the news and co-workers, maintaining anpositive attitude can be difficult...but it's so important.
When most people hear the words "attitude adjustment", they thinknabout going to the bar for the "happy hour". Those whoncontinually immerse themselves in this nonsense, neglect the realnproblem themselves. When things don't go right in their live's,nthey try to escape by not facing reality. People who lead thenfitness life-style generally have positive attitudes. They feelngood, they look good and those feelings radiate to anyone whomncomes into contact with them. The only bars that thenfitness-conscious care about are bar -bells. They have made ancommitment to themselves to stay in shape. It takes the same typenof commitment to maintain a positive attitude, although be awarenthat at times you may have "down days". Then it's up to you tonpull your attitude up once more.
To end off, I believe ones attitude is the single most critical factor in making the most of our lives. Think correctly with positive uplifting "torts".
Because...
From our thoughts spring our reality; consequently our thoughts determine the outcomes of our lives. Thus, our beliefs create our behaviors and our behaviors create our experience.
From the ideas we hold in the "top two inches" of our heads our future emerges. So
MANAGE YOUR THINKING ..
AND YOU CONTROL YOUR LIFEn
