Sharing a Few Thoughts on Spirituality from my Notes (collected over the years - Part One)

INTRODUCTORY COMMENTS:

These notes form part of a new manuscript, which I may name 'A DUMMIES GUIDE TO SPIRITUALITY: HOW TO KNOW and EXPERIENCE GOD'

These are some of the notes I've made and collected over the years (some from authors and sources unknown), which may be of interest and get you "tinking" about these "airey-fairey matters. If you want to replace the word 'God' mentioned so often with 'Life', that's great! Hope it's not too "heavy heavy" and that these thoughts may be helpful and perhaps even inspirational to you in your spiritual growth.n *

The concept of God, the Divine Source, the "Architect of the Universe" is beyond the realm of our human understanding. Infinite Spirit is a spiritual entity greater than ourselves. We project God in our consciousness and IT stands outside the realm of human decision making. The deepest yearning of the human heart is to know God, the "Highest Thought, the Highest Good"... and this sacred love of goodness comes through different religions in different ways; because religions are products of different histories and shaped by cultures around the globe.

They are different ways of relating to God ("Him, Her, It or THEM", life, etc *).
"I am part of nature. Spirit is guiding me. My spirit is honoured with my connectedness to the universe." YOU have the spark of the divine within you.n *

Every end is a new beginning. Let Him* give you a new beginning. Gifts are given by GRACE. Fulfil your calling. We call God by different names and people experience God in different ways; we experience mystery and hope in the jou
ey of life.

Christianity is a way of presenting the Word of God'.
Christians believe that Jesus was "the human face of God". The divine and the human meet perfectly in Jesus. So Christians believe Jesus Christ is here today through US and His Spirit (infinite) is added to our individual spirits... through FAITH. We are His hands - it is not our own strength, but the Holy Spirit that accomplishes extraordinary things in our lives.

This faith is a NEW way of living and is INTERNAL (not exte
al to us); so Christianity is not so much a religion, but a relationship, a "living, breathing" relationship. Have the spirit of Jesus in your heart and "walk with a different step".

As soon as you GIVE, you open up the world to possibilities and abundance.

God's Spirit is LOVEnServe GodnServe people
Serve the world.nn *

Where you've been is not nearly as important as where you're going.
God is a "God of another chance" and can turn your dreams into possibilities. "Turn a chasm of doubt into a window of opportunity."

God can work miracles out of our mistakes. God can take a mess and turn it into a message. Nothing in the past can disqualify you from a bright future.
God wants you to succeed and lead you to an abundant life.

From the deepest valley in the "wilde
ess of life", God can make something great out of our lives. Just give God time!

There can be no shadow without the sun.
