Sharing Some Secrets of the Superachievers of this World n(from "Inspirational Books" - Updated)

INTRODUCTION

Submitter's Note:
Craig has been studing the amazing powers of the human mind, nas well as the "secrets" of the superachievers of this world for nthe past decade. This article is based on a great uplifting book by an
Australian, Philip Baker. I am sharing the contents of this author's work nin the spirit of encouraging and hopefully even inspiring those npeople, who really want to "super-achieve" to just GO FOR IT.
Nothing is impossible, if you earnestly desire it and work hard at achieving your dreams.
Thank you sincerely, Philip for sharing your most uplifting words of wisdom in encouraging me to follow my passion and reach for my personal dreams. I in turn am passing them on through the amazing power of the 'net'. n *
"Every great man has become great, every successful man has nsucceeded, in proportion as he has confined his powers to one nparticular channel." n- Orison Swett Marsden n
"Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess." n- Oscar Wilde n
"Racing is all I want to do. I don't have a Plan A and a Plan B."n - Mario Andretti n
You've got to love it with a passion that will follow you to the ngrave. If you don't have that, you might as well forget it, I nthink." n
If you LOVE WHAT YOU DO, you'll have a GRAND PURPOSE for your nlife. The super-achiever's life then becomes focussed, with the nperson having the capacity to concentrate on the important nthings, rather than the superficial. This is a direct result of nknowing where one is going - don't get side-tracked and so lose nmomentum. n
MOTIVATIONAL: Motivation comes from having a goal that is ninspirational. In turn, this causes us to focus our lives even nmore and gives us the energy through which we can accomplish our ndreams. "The goal becomes both the target and the fuel." n
"We achieve, because we believe."
"Faith achieves the impossible."

"Great people are just ordinary people with a great amount of determination."n-ano

Greatness is often born in the cauldron of suffering and pain. It nis in the hard places, the lonely places, that we discover if we nreally have an all-consuming purpose or sense of destiny." n
"Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through nexperience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, nvision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved." n- Helen Keller n
One must cling to the dream and with every fibre of ones being go ninto battle. n
The indominatable human spirit in triumphing over adversity comes nout again and again. In one study of successful people from ndifferent walks of life, it was discovered that their problems nwere more severe than those of average people. One fourth had nmajor handicaps, such as deafness, blindness or crippled limbs.
Three-quarters came from broken homes or were born in abject npoverty. n
The common thread was that their problems built an even stronger ndetermination to overcome. They all resumed responsibility - nrefusing to bow down to a 'victim mentality'. n
Super Achievers were average people, who simply would not give up nor let go of their dream - through failure after failure. n
Raw talent is not enough, yet simple tenacity will make the ndifference. A willingness to never give up was their chief aid on nthe pathway to success. We must learn how to face defeat without nbeing defeated; because failure is only that once it is accepted. n
Zig Zigler once quipped: "The only difference between a big shot nand a little shot is that the big shot kept shooting." n
You gotta to true to thyself. "I gotta be true to Ray." n- Ray Charles (who sadly died the other day) n
Success is not a ladder - it's a PROCESS, a jou
ey we must all travel nalong, as we float down the "river of life" in our human quest nfor knowledge, insight and wisdom. n
Achievers have a positive attitude with an abundance mentality, ntogether with: n n* faith in humanity...one's fellow man...and woman, of course!

Man's greatness lies in his power of thought. "God does not hand nover to us, His children, everything we desire. He gives us the ntools that we require to succeed and allows us to discover for nourselves how to use them." n
Initiave, dreams, entrepreneurship, wisdom and persistence.

Super Achievers success is God's way of helping other people.

Super-achievers have an inward contentment in pursuing their nover-riding goal, so they have peace of mind regarding their nchosen path. n n* internal harmony with their highest values in line with none's life purpose. They keep their perspective on life, seeing nlife as a marathon - not a sprint. n n* They know themselves and are in touch with their feelings.
They are true to themselves living with integrity. "No man is nfree, who is not master of himself." - Epicetus n n* focus, which produces clarity and energyn n* self growth n n* humility n n* tenacity n n* persistence n n* hard work n n* great motivation n n* use the technique of goal setting n n* have a grand vision n n* develop their discipline. It entails
"putting in the hard yards" on the pathway to success - "no gain, nno pain". "The men who try and do something and fail are ninfinitely better than those who try to do nothing and succeed." n- Lloyd James n
The difference between the achiever and nsuper-achiever is often a matter of discipline. The key to ndiscipline is having a sense of destiny. n n* They harness the energy, talents and dreams of people around nthem in a spirit of co-operation...and so fulfil their destinies nin life. n n* humility - not so much putting oneself down... but lifting up nothers. n n* courage, which never fails to grab the heart and motivate the nsoul. Courage makes us stronger, braver and better people.
Courage is not the absence of fear, it is the ability to face nfear and say, 'Regardless of how I feel at this moment, I am ngoing to push through to the other side.' n
Mahatma Gandhi's courage was evident in his persistence in nimprisonment and fasting - the stamina that courage brings. n
Courage has been the key element in the success of many of the nworld's Super-Achievers. n n* A creative imagination n n* A strong spirit. The generosity and nobility of spirit in
'great souled' people - people with a strong sense of life mission - like Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Martin
Luther King , Mother Theresa... n nand as evidenced in the 'infinite spirit' of Jesus Christ, of course!

Courage is a by-product of faith, child of destiny purpose, once ncultivated, produces naturally the necessary ingredients to nfulfill itself perspective - peace of mind humility - grown in nknowledge and wisdom n
Say 'no' to the security of mediocrity. When the decision is nmade and the jou
ey is embarked upon with conviction, the soul nfinds much help along the way. God, the Universe helps those who help themselves. n
Most important is the jou
ey inward - the soul must be nurtured, nif we are going to be the people we dream of.
Great lives don't just happen, they are caused: Caused through n* desiren* decisionn* direction (ie.FOCUS)n* discipline (of self)n* determination nand n* faith (great).

PASSION + PURPOSE = POWER

Say to yourself:
"I WILL UNTIL!" n
"Let us take courage. Let us be who we are meant to be. Life is nfor living. The years are passing. The time for decision is NOW." n
