The skin is our largest organ. It protects our critical organs and reflects our outward appearance. The skin can absorb chemicals and ingredients either from hair products or products we apply directly to the skin. Many products on the market today contain dozens of harmful chemicals and the power of the Food & Drug Administration here in the US is limited, but there are other groups that work to keep the public aware of what they are putting on their skin and how it can affect them. The FDA states that cosmetics and skin care products must be safe for use but the law does not require FDA approval prior to going on the market. Trusted brands like Solvaderm should contain medical-grade ingredients that are safe for use. Below is a list of toxic ingredients you will not find in Solvaderm’s line of skin care products. Phthalates Phthalates are used in a variety of skin care products as a gelling agent in products like moisturizers. You can also find this toxin in perfumes, lipsticks, eyeshadows, soaps and more. Exposure to phthalates has been linked to asthma, breast cancer, endocrine disruption, mental development of offspring, and many other effects. Triclosan Triclosan originated as a hospital scrub back in the 1970’s and since then it has expanded to be used in shampoos, dental products, and cleaning supplies. It is a strong antibacterial and is recommended to be used in cases where methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is present. The ingredient has been classified as a pesticide by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) so you may be wondering why it would be acceptable to be applied on your skin. The safety of triclosan is now under review by the FDA and Canada but links are being found to allergies and it has even been found in breast milk, blood, and urine samples. So while the safety is still in question, you may want to reconsider using products with triclosan. Mineral Oil Mineral oil is in so many products that one may not think there would be any risk to using this product. The ingredient is actually listed with the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as a Group 1 carcinogen and, therefore, is definitely considered a carcinogenic to humans2. The IARC is an intergove mental agency which forms part of the World Health Organization of the United Nations. Propylene Glycol This organic alcohol is often found in conditioners, makeup, moisturizers, sunscreens and even in some hair sprays. You will even find this ingredient in industrial cleaners to help remove barnacles from boats. Obviously not something you want seeping into your skin. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) strictly regulates butylene glycol which is a close relative of propylene glycol and ensures people wear protective gear when disposing of the toxin. There have been links to asthma, hay fever, eczema, and allergies and should be avoided. You can trust Solvaderm’s complete line of skin care products and rest easily knowing that there are no carcinogens and compounds that are going to affect your health. Their products are backed by years of scientific research and are trusted by professionals worldwide. As a member of The National Writers Union for many years, I have been aware of the problems experienced by educated, professional writers. Many have been deprived of their contracted fees. Others have had their writing plagiarized or syndicated without their consent and without payment to the writer by unscrupulous publishers and authors. But the Writers’ Union has done something about that. Jointly, as a group, they have managed to fight for the rights of individual writers.

Reawakening love IS possible. It happens all the time. Just when you most feel like giving up, letting go and moving on, stop and reevaluate before leaving. Yes, there are some relationships that have truly run their course. Perhaps the reason for connecting no longer exists and both would be happier elsewhere. But very often, two people reach an impassem, an inevitable butting of heads and personality differences, and instead of working through the issues they just give up and leave.

What do YOU believe are the 3 causes of all relationship problems? * Inadequate Money? * Not enough or too much Sex? * Friends interfering? * Family triangles and intrusions? * Poor communication? * Emotional Imbalance? Relationships are more complex than many of us care to admit. We choose a person who attracts us because of the way they look, behave and feel. And, inevitably, as we get closer and know each other better, those very same previously wonderful qualities can become a thorn in our side.

Ever since I began seeing my private therapy and coaching clients, over two decades ago, I have been longing to work with a Virtual Assistant. In fact, I wanted this type of personal assistance to help me cope with my family, my relationships, my career path, and even my health many years before this type of service became available online. When I was single, I would often choose a partner who looked good physically or sounded wonderful at first but proved to be either emotionally or financially bereft – and I thought I had made another “bad” choice.r
