12/22/12 Opening the Door to the future

Everyone has been talking about the coming date of 12/22/2012. Some people think it is the End of the World; some expect major catastrophes to happen immediately when the calendar date arrives. Spiritually, the date is of great importance. On this particular day the Winter Solstice having just occured, the sun will rise in the center of the Milky Way galaxyfor the first time in 26,000 years. The Maya have chosen to end their long count calendar on this date but this does not suggest that they expected the world to end on that date. Instead, it means that the Maya expected 12/22/2012 to be a "New Beginning". So, tell me, is this the opening of a door to our future?

The world finds itself in flux. We are in the midst of great changes in every nation in our world. Even in the U.S. there are fights and arguements and changes happening. Our natural resources are being depleted and we are doing nothing to renourish them. We are dependent on foreign oil when we have oil deposits that can be used here. This makes us involved in other people's fights. We shouldn't be. The date 12/22/2012 is about a spiritual awakening. It can happen any place here on Earth. It needs to happen everwhere. We need to reach down inside ourselves and find our center; bring spirituality back into our lives.

Currently we are dependent on technology, electronics, oil and other inventions and discoveries that have been made over the years. We need to remember when we were more involved with each other and with our relationship to our Supreme Being. Instead of fighting Christian against Muslim, Jew against the world, we need to center ourselves and make friends with our own religion and beliefs. We have turned technology into our Gods when we need to be learning about taking care of ourselves and our planet. I am not suggesting that we need to stop using our natural resources; just that we use them wisely.

The galactic alignment that is going to occur on 12/22/2012 has not occured for 26,000 years. Jupiter is moving into position now and the pulls it is exerting on our planet, Earth, is showing us just how powerful this planet is alone. Earthquakes and storms have been occuring more often than in recent memory. Once all of the planets have aligned, the sun will rise on the morning of 12/22/12 directly in the center of the group alignment and will open a portal that has been closed for centuries.

This is the door to the past and also to our future. We may soon discover that through this portal into deep space we can find other universes like ours with sentient beings like us living in more advanced civilizations than this one. That's right, we probably aren't the most advanced civilization out there. Look at what we are doing to our planet and what is happening to the people on it. Wouldn't a more advanced civilization be living in peace?

Think back to the stories you have heard about all of the advanced civilizations that have disappeared. Atlantis, Lemuria, Shamballa, Shangri-la have all disappeared. We have no idea whether they were real or mythological. There has been no archaeological facts discovered to prove they existed. But still we believe as we also believe in Noah's Ark and the Garden of Eden.

With the opening of the door once more, the Gods or Angels or Extraterresterials can step back through into our lives. Will we find that in the past these visitors have taught us how to build pyramids without the tools the Egyptains would naturally have had? Or will we step through the door ourselves and visit hidden worlds and learn from the beings that inhabit them? This is the possibility of 12/22/12.
