What a wonderful weekend and what a beautiful day it is today. Sun, leaves and 60 degrees, an awesome autumn day in the North East of the USA. Stepping outside this morning on my front porch I took a deep breath of the leaf scented fall air and said to myself “This is what feeling better and qigong are all about, the ability and capability to be aware and enjoy the reality we have created for ourselves.”

Then, while having my morning coffee I began to reflect on the fact that everyday I can choose to feel better and better. I can choose to have an awesome day. I can choose to have awesome health, fitness and vitality. I can choose to enjoy my life!

It really is easier than you think. ACTUALLY, IT IS AS EASY AS YOU THINK! You can harness your subconscious mind to do 90% of the work for you. With subconscious programming YOU ARE IN CONTROL.

Do this right now! Take a deep inhalation followed by a long exhalation and vocalize “Ahhhhhh!” as you put a big smile on your face. Do this several times. Can you feel a change in your energy? Your spirit? Your mood?

EVERY DAY AND IN EVERY WAY YOU CAN FEEL BETTER AND BETTER!

Simply stated, qigong techniques can be integrated with the power of the mind to enhance and increase the positive effects that the qigong exercise has on your health and fitness. Qigong exercise moves the body with integrated breathing to increase the flow of energy, Qi, in your body. Feeling, visualization and affirmation are mental tools of the mind that you can cultivate to bring about significant changes in your physical, mental and spiritual health and it can lift your feeling of well-being to higher vibrational levels.

I'd like to share 3 very easy yet powerful qigong meditations that you can do virtually any time and any where in either a standing or sitting position. Throughout the exercises remember to keep your body relaxed and breath easily. To not over extend your inhalation or exhalation just use a nice balanced and even breathing pattern.

Qigong Mediation 1 “The Expanding Ball”
The affirmation that you will use for this mediation is “I live in the abundance of the universe.” Place both hands in front of your center (about 3 inches below your navel). Imagine that you are holding a ball that is about the size of a grapefruit. Inhale slowly and pull your hands apart until they are about as wide as your hips, while affirming “I live in the abundance...” Now exhale slowly and push your hands back together to the original size while affirming “...of the universe.” Throughout this imagine and have the feeling that the ball is inflating and deflating and that you are filling the ball with energy and then releasing the energy into your body. Repeat this for 2 – 5 minutes.

Qigong Meditation 2 “The Rising Ball”
The affirmation that you will use for this meditation is “I give to the universe and the universe gives to me.” Place both hands in front of your center (about 3 inches below your navel). Imagine that you are holding a ball with your right hand on top and your left hand unde
eath. Inhale slowly and raise your right hand up to chin level, while affirming “I give to the universe...” Now exhale slowly and push your right hand back down to the left hand to the original size while affirming “...and the universe gives to me.” Next, switch your hands so that the left hand is on top and the right hand is unde
eath. Inhale slowly and raise your left hand up to chin level, while affirming “I give to the universe...” Now exhale slowly and push your left hand back down to the left hand to the original size while affirming “...and the universe gives to me.” Throughout this imagine and have the feeling that the ball is inflating and deflating and that you are filling the ball with energy and then releasing it into your body. Repeat this for 2 – 5 minutes.

Qigong Meditation 3 “Gathering Energy Circle”
The affirmation that you will use for this meditation is “Every day and in every way I feel better and better.” Place both hands in front of your center (about 3 inches below your navel) with palms upward. Inhale slowly and circle your hands down, out and up to the sides, palms upward, continuing until they are directly overhead while affirming “Every day and in every way...” Exhale slowly and push your hands down the front of your body, palms down while affirming “...I feel better and better.” Throughout this imagine and have the feeling that you are gathering the energy of the universe and bringing it into your body. Repeat this for 2 – 5 minutes.

Using “Mind Power” and qigong you can easily begin to learn to create your reality. It is possible simply by choice to create an awesome day, awesome health and an awesome world. Please share this with all your friends and families and together WE CAN CREATE AN AWESOME WORLD.
