Do you really want to learn some self defense moves you can include into any style of martial arts training you are currently in right now? In this article I would like to share some extremely useful and effective martial arts techniques that will definitely help improve your chances of winning in a reality based self defense situation. Say if you are attacked or mugged while out in your daily life, the tips given below have been taken from prison based combat and these are guaranteed to work no matter your age, size or skill level.

1. One of the first and widely used techniques you are going to learn that works very effectively is the eye gouge. When you notice a UFC fight end in disqualification because one of the fighters got poked in the eye, let that be a lesson. Of course, being poked in the eye can cause extreme pain and extreme damage. The fact is that it can also interrupt and impede the vision of your assailant. Thus, if your punches are not working properly while you are defending against being attacked your best move from there forward is to slam your fingers into your assailant’s eye sockets.

2. Second great move that really works always against male attackers is kicking or knee striking the groin area. Honestly speaking, it is easy and convenient to remember and works as long as you do it right. However, don't think you are limited to just knee strikes or kicks, if you are capable to pull, rip, squeeze, claw, bite, or whatever you can do, it can cause an attack to end abruptly with your would be assailant running away in extreme pain and extreme damage.

3. The last and the most important martial arts technique I would like to pinpoint in this article is attacking the throat of your attacker. Remember, if you can smash him in the windpipe with a swift chop or punch, then you can cut off his air supply which can also obstruct him from wanting to carry on his plans of hurting you.rnOn a final note, being knowledgable about what actually works in a street-based self-defense scenario is really important so be aware of what works and what does not and be sure to practice daily. It would not be wrong to say that honing your cordination and cardiovascular training is really important to be ready for a reality based self-defense encounter. It is good to be vigilant and ready for attack. Three important techniques given above will surely help you learn self defense to help you protect against unexpected attacks on the roads or other places.
