3 Signs Your Husband May Be Cheating

Do you have a hunch that your husband might be cheating on you? Maybe he’s been acting a little “off” lately and you just want to get to the bottom of the situation. I know what it’s like to think your partner is cheating on you. It can really take up the majority of your thoughts and no matter what you do you can’t seem to focus on anything else. This can really drive you crazy sometimes.

Here are a few tips that you can use to help you figure out if your husband is cheating on you.

First, have you noticed him talking a lot about a new female friend of his? Many times physical affairs begin as long, drawn-out emotional affairs. A simple friendship can turn into infatuation and flirting. Before you know it the tension is rising and when it reaches a boiling point it can become a true physical affair.

If you notice this happening, talk to your husband. Tell him your feelings and be sure to let him know that you consider emotional affairs just as real as physical affairs. As him, as an act of respect to you and your marriage, to stop communicating with the other woman.

Second, does he seem distant from you emotionally? It is difficult for men to have an affair and remain emotionally invested in their marriage simultaneously. Most men will feel incredible guilt about cheating and they will cope with this by distancing themselves from you.

If you think this is happening, talk to your husband. Let him know that you feel that the two of you are drifting apart. Tell him that you are committed to keeping the intimacy in your relationship and cultivating that deep emotional connection between the two of you. Then try to find time to share you feelings and bring more love to your relationship.

Third, he spends a lot of time away from home. If your husband is spending more and more time away from home, he may be on his way out the door. Maybe he says he’s working late or maybe he makes other excuses, but if he is physically not present it could because he is out meeting up with another woman.

If you notice this happening, start to take an interest in what he is doing. If the details are fuzzy or he doesn’t want to talk about it, there could be something he is hiding. If he says he is working late, perhaps you can surprise him during a late night at work by bringing him dinner. If he isn’t there and his coworkers say he left at 5:00, then you really know that something is up.

It is important to keep in mind that you can tally up all the evidence for or against him cheating, but until you know for sure, all the speculation won’t get you far. Sometimes you just need to take things into your own hands and dig down deeper to discover the real truth about what he is doing.
