Today, we continue to explore the simple THREE STEP method of Neville Goddard’s, and the common mistakes that people make.

So let’s do a quick review with Neville and dive into the second step today.

“THE FIRST STEP in changing the future is Desire, that is, define your objective — know definitely what you want. SECOND: construct an event which you believe you would encounter following the fulfillment of your desire – an event which implies fulfillment of your desire – something which will have the action of Self predominant.” – Neville Goddard

Yesterday, we explored EXACTLY how to MOVE from the state of STUCK THINKING to CREATIVE FEELING, by keeping it simple.

Several readers emailed us – asking why we don’t make what we want EVEN MORE SPECIFIC. Remember, your MIND wants to THINK about all kinds of specifics, but that isn't where the power is.

The power is in your spirit, and your spirit wants to SIMPLY FEEL. So, keep it SIMPLE so you can easily feel it.

Today, we take THE SECOND STEP of Neville’s, and CREATE A VERY SPECIFIC SCENE that implies the wish has bee
ALREADY fulfilled.

One of the big mistakes that almost everyone makes is constructing an imaginary scene OF the wish ITSELF.

Neville is very specific about how to do this, “construct an imaginal scene that would IMPLY the state of the wish fulfilled”, on that naturally FOLLOWS it.

The power is in the implication, that it is done.

That is why we construct the scene, with SPECIFICS that NATURALLY FOLLOWS your wish having completely manifested in your life. (This corrects the SECOND MISTAKE.)

When I was a teenager, I saw in my imagination me sharing with my friends the newspaper articles written about me, the young black belt trainer at the local YMCA. This implied that I was already a black belt trainer, with loads of success..

So how can you apply this in your life today?

Remember that THIS is the step where we get specific.

Remember also to have your SELF predominant in the action. It’s not about “the stuff”, it’s about YOUR LIFE. So that’s it for part two, tune in tomorrow for part three, and remember – you are the operant power – so DO IT!

And have an amazing day, feeling your ideal as real.

What's it really like to pursue a passion or chase a big dream? When someone asks me what it's like to pursue a passion or chase a dream, I just smile and say, "It feels like flying..." Some people would think that means it's exhilarating; and yes, that's definitely true. But there's another meaning, especially for those who have a fear of flying. I've flown in airplanes since I was nine, but it seems that the more I fly, the more it bothers me. I actually deal with an increasing fear of flying every time I step onto a plane.

A few weeks ago, my husband and I took our seven children to a neighboring state for a read-a-thon. On the way home, we stopped half-way and stayed with my sister for a night to break up the trip. The next morning, in our rush to be on the road again, we gathered our blankets and pillows, said our goodbyes, and loaded the van. My husband was at the wheel and I glanced back to ask the kids, "We got everybody?" Nobody indicated otherwise, so I said, "Great!" We had just begun to roll down the road when I looked back again and noticed my 15-year old missing.
