3 Vital Ingredients in the Client Attraction Process

Every building must have a strong deep foundation for it to stay standing and not develop any cracks or fall down! The client attraction process is no different. There are 3 vital ingredients that make up this foundation.
1. Mindset. This is the most important piece. 80% or more of our success depends on our mindset. So without this in place, there is little or no chance of success in attracting your ideal clients to you and making money. Now that in itself is part of the mindset piece! If you choose to ignore it and just work on putting lots of marketing strategies into place without addressing this, then you are going to be in for a long haul and a lot of disappointing results
You see anyone can put the strategies into place, that's the easy part. These are skills to be learned, and you can do that. It is vital that you really understand the importance of this first point. If your mindset is not set for success you might as well stop now. Because our thinking is what affects everything in our lives.
I don't know whether you have ever done any firewalking, but I have. How does someone walk on hot coals? Or broken glass? It's all mind over matter. We've all seen the karate chops through piles of wood haven't we? They are all metaphors for demonstrating to us just how powerful our own minds are.
Well it's no different for us in business. If we are having doubts about whether or not we can attract clients in, or whether or not we are good enough, or whether people will think we are charging too much and so on, then that's what's going to show up for us in our experience. If we don't believe that we can make money doing what we love, well then we don't.
1. The who do you help? Your niche, your target market, your core market, your tribe, whatever you want to call it, it's a definite group of people that you choose to market to.
2.
3. Without a clear niche your foundation is going to be very shaky. There is nothing stable to build on. You won't have a definite, clear message and so what happens is that no one can hear you. It's like you have your finger pressed on the end of a garden hose and a light sprinkle might touch everyone in the vicinity, whereas when you know who you are talking to, you can speak a clear message and it's as if you have taken your finger off the end and they are getting the full force of the water and so really taking notice of what you are saying. So you have found a way to stand out from the crowd, you are being noticed.
4.
And a really important point to make about niche is that it is just a marketing term for who you speak to. It's not who you work with, it's just who you choose to speak to in your marketing because a lot of fear comes up for people when they think they have to choose a niche. We all want to help as many people as we possibly can, I know that, but when we try to help everyone with a generic message, we actually get to help practically no one as I well found out for myself before I chose a niche. The only way to lift yourself out of the crowd is to choose a niche market and to start speaking their language .........
3. Your message in their language. What do I mean by their language? This is a key ingredient to the message. It's so important. It's where so many people are dropping the ball.
Your ideal clients, your niche market are going to be struggling with specific problems and issue,s or wanting to reach a specific goal, basically they are looking for a solution. And this is exactly where you come in. You can help them make the transformation they are looking for, that's what your work is, helping and healing, helping them move from where they are in pain or frustration, which we can call place A, and they want to move to a place we'll call B. You are already in B, that's why you are qualified to help them.
And the thing is, because they are in A, they are speaking in a language that is different to the language you are using in B. That's what I mean about speaking in their language because if we try and speak in language B, to someone who is still in A and speaking in language A, then they are just not going to hear us. So getting your message out there in their language is like having a magnet that attracts your ideal clients to you.
And it's something I cover in depth on my Marketing from the Heart Programme because it is just fundamental to have this message in a format that is recognised and understood by your ideal clients. This is the magnetic language that you will be able to use in all your marketing material, from your website to your business cards. I have a great tool and exercise that allows you to uncover that language and put together a very powerful message. Find out more here.
