3 Ways To Be An Opportunist

On Sunday morning, with a deck full of leaves and no power, I sat to listen to the Divine and have myself a little conversation. I looked up to see this amazing creator (see grasshopper picture on the left). I've been seeing a lot of grasshoppers lately. On my car, on my deck, hopping out in front of me on a stone path. So I wanted to share the message of this beautiful creator with you.
Grasshoppers are the ultimate opportunists. These powerful little creators are the first to jump off to new adventures. Grasshopper totem is fearless, always moving forward, never backwards. The symbolism here is that they can make a giant leap forward without any effort or resistance.

1. It is all about choice
Often we think we are making the choice, but we aren't. We are just sitting there operating on auto pilot. What radical position are you going to take to achieve your heart's desire today? To talk to yourself with love? To believe in yourself? It is perfectly acceptable if you need to keep hopping to that choice...as long as you hop to the choice that you really want...

2. Being fearless
Being fearless is not being without fear. It is making the choice not to have fear turn to paralysis. Notice when you are stuck in your fear loop and pause, connect to your Soul, and allow yourself the opportunity to make a different choice.

3. Stop listening to the hype

Other people's hype will create resistance and disbelief in yourself. You have the right to say to someone (with love and compassion for yourself and for them), "That's just your opinion." Notice today where you are losing your sense of adventure because you are listening to the mass' fears. Pause, connect and feel the truth that there are no limits to creation.
