Step Oner
Answer this question honestly and with as much clarity and detail as possible:
What is it that you really want?
If you are having a difficult time with this question then write down on one side of a piece of paper what you do not want or what is happening in your life right now that you want to change.
On the other side right down what you would rather see happening instead. Once you have a list of what you want tear the paper in half and throw away the piece that lists your ‘don’t wants’.
Step Twor
For the next week daily rewrite the list of what you want, and see yourself achieving it. Why is this step so important?
What you think about you become.
We all have a conscious and a subconscious mind, or we can call them our thinking mind and emotional mind. With our conscious mind we choose our thoughts. Every thought we think we can either accept or reject, but either way we are choosing what we allow into our conscious mind.
The Subconscious mind accepts the ideas we give energy to. It does not have the same ability as the conscious mind, it cannot reject an idea, it can only accept.
All our memories, habits, conditioned beliefs and our self-image are stored in the subconscious mind.
By rewriting your list each day you are taking charge of the thoughts and ideas that you are impressing upon your subconscious mind. This creates a positive energy or feeling within you.
Since what you think about you become, you have a greater chance at becoming the person you want to become, doing the things you want to do, having the things you want to have.
Step Threer
Take action on the list you have created. Each day do at least one thing that moves you towards achieving your desired results.
It may be a change in the clothes you wear, the way you style your hair, the people you associate with, the way you spend your leisure time, the foods you eat.
It may be taking a course, reading motivational books, praying, meditating, or exercising.
Whatever it is begin it! It is action that produces the results in our life. Actions are based upon the feelings within your subconscious mind, which have been created by those thoughts you choose to allow in your conscious mind.
Step 4
Get a good coach! It takes “effective education combined with professional coaching over a reasonable period of time” (Bob Proctor) to successfully achieve the results you desire. A coach makes you accountable, encourages when the results have not yet manifested, and expands your awareness of all that you can be, do and have.
