My definition of a successful business is: Know-How with Know-Who and a Know-What. Hence, your marketing and sales consist of basically 3 main activities: networking, speaking and writing. This article is for all those who are just starting and feel shy speaking, who are sick and tired of going to networking meetings without much or any results and who are like me … love to express themselves writing and feel perfectly comfortable in the company of their laptop. Here are the 5 must-haves for a sky rocket sales without speaking at all.

1. Create ads with personality
I can’t say this enough: If you don’t have sales, it’s because you don’t have enough offers to satisfy your prospect client’s needs. You clearly have this blind spot if you comfortably tell yourself: I don’t know what my clients want? If this is you, raise your hand and do something about it. But , this is only part of the problem. The bigger issue at hand is that – whatever add you create, needs to have personality. You can’t brand your self solid unless you stand out from the crowd of professionals that have the same exact message as yours or pretty similar

2. Entertain in Your Sales Lettersr
If you haven’t thought of your newsletter as a sales letter, think again. Each and every email communication that goes out with an offer is a mini sales letter. With a very good copyright, a single blog post or a single email can get you instant payment notifications. Now, the difficult part is how to get there… do LESS and get MORE? The simplest answer to that is: get your crew of prospects be amazed by you by spicing up the entertainment part of being in business. The hardest thing to do is: start doing it. Especially without guidance.

3. Become a Storytelling Commenter
If you don’t want to speak in front of crowds, if you don’t want to network in person, or you can’t for some reason or another, start getting in touch with your crowd of people one by one by leaving blog comments. And for this to really work, be genuine and sharing. Tell what this post did for you, how it made you feel, what you associated it with. In other words- avoid at all cost comments like: Great post, great video, etc.

4. Become a Status King or Queenr
When you update your facebook or twitter status, be engaging. There’s nothing more boring than to read all about me and all about my business messages… because you are excluded from the conversation and that’s not fun. Nobody gets interested to have a conversation with their TV set. They can call somebody on a program, for example, but this always means that – the person on the other line has invited this call.

5. It’s All About the Personal Touchr
Especially if you have a service business. The contemporary buyer is no longer interested in just the goods. They want the nice packaging and quite frankly, they buy experience. High end products and services are never about the product or service only. It’s about pampering your client and paying personal attention to them. In the online global village – this is about writing your own articles and emails. Delegate as much as you can the routine tasks but never your expert work.
