I won’t be claiming that all your problems will be solved once you hire a team of assistants. Just like in the corporate world: there are good employees and bad employees. The difference is that now you are the employer and you get to decide what’s helping your business and what is not. But there are at least 5 reasons that you need a virtual team and here they are:

1. Your work is done while you’re asleepr
If you haven’t experienced it, then you just don’t know what you’re missing. It’s as if you need to clean your whole house and you take a nap and when you wake up it’s all in perfect order. You you need to iron, fold clothes, wait for the transport for ages until it comes.

2. You get more hands on the jobr
Of course it also depend on your delegation skills and your ability to manage your projects but in essence, if you do your marketing for 6 hours a day and you hire 2 more people to do it for 6 hours a day each. It’s like … you’re seriously in business.

3. You have someone else do the boring stuff
We all love our businesses but we don’t all love all that we do on a daily basis in order to bring in money. Some tasks we really hate doing. The problem is: if you keep thinking “If I don’t like it I won’t do it” you will keep procrastinating. I personally can’t make myself do what I don’t like. But I always find someone to do it for me.

4. You get lots of free time on your hands.
Imagine you plan for a vacation away from your city. Let’s say – 3 hour flight away. What if, you take your own car – it will take you up to 24 hours. And what if … you walk. I’m sure walking to your vacation destination is not on anyone’s list. The sooner you get there, the more time you have to enjoy it. Same with your business. Walking or flying is your choice. But to fly, you need a pilot to tell you the direction, i.e. a business coach.

5. Detailed work is done better
It’s the same as if you decide to renovate your house or apartment. Of course you may take off 3 months from work and from doing anything else and renovate on your own. You’ve seen it being done on TV, you can read it on the internet, your friends tell you what to do here and how to do that there. But in the end: somebody who’s renovating houses or apartment for a living has a much better idea on how to do things faster and better.
