How many times have you had a conversation with a prospect when nothing panned out? How many people have gone to your website and left without signing up for your ezine? What about a speech, workshop, or 1 on 1 that was a dead end?
What would it be worth to discover 5 secrets you can implement immediately to achieve the results you want faster and easier than ever before? Here are 5 basic secrets that will do just that!
Secret 1: Are You Talking to Me?
Develop a clear message that speaks directly to where your prospects are at right now.
We have so much information thrown at us each day we naturally tune most of it out. You have to break through that clutter.
One powerful attention grabber is simply the word “YOU.” Use it liberally.
Another attention grabber is relating the information directly to your prospects lives. Describe where they are at. What is it they really want? Relate this to their life in an effort to make it as tangible as possible. How does their stuckness, frustrations, emptiness, etc. show up in their life and what does it prevent them from doing, having, experiencing, being, enjoying…?
Secret 2: Feel the Burn!
Allow them to feel the pain. Many coaches & other solopreneurs, being people pleasers, want to do everything you can to help people avoid pain.
However, pain is a crucial part of life and personal development. If your prospects didn’t experience pain, what would be the point of changing?
Allow them to feel and own the pain. They may very well have been denying it for years because they believed no one would understand. So show them you do and tell them about their pain.
Secret 3: Opposites Attract
Create a contrasting vision. Contrasts are a great way to grab and keep your prospects attention. They break the existing paradigm and expectations to allow room for new possibilities.
Play up the contrast between the pain they are currently experiencing and what they could have. Draw a picture if possible. Craft it as a story. Using case studies, examples of how other clients have achieved these goals are perfect examples of creating a contrasting vision.
Secret 4: The Magic Lamp
Know their deepest desires. In order to create that paradigm shift and show the possibilities you have to be very clear about what your prospects really, really want.
How do you do this? The first thing to do is identify who you are speaking to, you have to niche for this, and then do market research.
Market research can be done very easily by going to a book store and looking at the titles of the books your prospects read. You can also go to the library and talk to the librarian about the best way to find out information about your target market.
Secret 5: Put One Foot in Front of the Other
Have a clear call to action. Don’t make your prospects work. Tell them what the next steps are to start creating these changes. Be as detailed as necessary. Guide them clearly and confidently through the necessary steps to working with you. If you are unclear or unconfident, they will be too.
You now have 5 of the most powerful secrets to guide people towards working with you.
It’s truly amazing but these are just a few of the secrets that were literally right in front of you all the time. By becoming conscious of them, even the ones you already thought you knew, you can dramatically increase the speed of which you grow your business faster and easier than you thought possible.
