Thirdly, you should control your cravings; dieting is simply about discipline. Cravings are not permanent. If you were to think and focus on other things whenever you have a random craving, then you will find that controlling your cravings will become a much easier task to achieve.
You should also slowly reduce your portion size over time. Do not start going on a crash diet and starve yourself. That is one of the worst ways you can damage your body and health. You will also find it difficult to keep up to that new diet. You should reduce your portion sizes slowly over time.
Next, you should choose to take more frequent but smaller meals. With smaller and more frequent meals, your metabolism rate will be kept high, helping you to burn more calories on a passive basis. Also, when you take less calories at each sitting, your body will find processing food easier and give you a steady supply of energy through your day.
Finally, you should take less beer. Beer or alcohol in general is full of empty calories. These are calories which will add up to your daily calorie intake but will provide you with no nutrients whatsoever.
