You should take less carbohydrates and more protein. You should take less carbohydrates because when you over eat them, they can turn into fat. Protein will help you feel full quicker, therefore you will take less calories overall.

Soda, like beer and alcohol, are full of empty calories. What is worse about soda is that it is also full of sugar! Drinking soda on a regular basis will mean that you are taking lots of sugars and calories without any nutritional benefit. This will result in you gaining a lot of weight very quickly.

You should start eating slower. Our body takes up to 10 minutes to realize that it is full, therefore, you may overeat if you were to take your foods too quickly. By taking your foods and meals slower, you will be able to better gauge when you are actually already full.

Dieting by itself can only get you thus far in losing weight. You should also start picking up an active lifestyle! Although most people hate exercising or give constant excuses that they do not have time to do so, it is actually very important if you want to lose weight effectively in a short period of time.

Next, you should also plan for special events such as holidays. During holidays, most people are pressured to take more food and consume all kinds of junk foods. Drinking lots of alcohol is also one big mistake people make. By eating some foods and drinking lots of water beforehand, you will find resisting such temptations much easier.

Do not underestimate the importance of sleep. It is very important for you to lose weight effectively and quickly. When your body lack sleep, your metabolism will slow down, making you burn less calories passively. People who are tired from lack of sleep also tend to look towards eating more foods to feel more awake, but this will only make them fatter!

Lastly, you should make ambitious but realistic goals. When you expect to lose weight nearly ove
ight, you will realize that it is impossible. When you have ridiculously high expectations, you may get depressed easily and quit. However, losing and transforming your body within several months is still very possible!
