Becoming fashionable will increase your confidence, and positively influence your self confidence but it is one part of the puzzle. Building core confidence based on internal validation is the key to lasting confidence. Changing your image is as simple as trying some new looks.

Your smile says a lot about who you. With your smile you display confidence without ever saying a word. When you smile it has a physiological reaction on your body. When you're smiling your brain releases feel-good chemicals like dopamine and serotonin which gives you an instant sensation of feeling good.
Something that you can do right now to boost your self-confidence would be to walk around everywhere with a smile on your face.
