A daily practice is the foundation of your internal growth and outer solution development. What I have in mind is, first of all, a practice that settles you down and helps you find a stillness within. There are many, many ways to do this and it is important for you to find one or a couple that suit you. Many people have routines or practices for their body and their outer life. Going to the gym, jogging, yoga, Pilates, dieting, goal setting, affirmations, to-do lists, etc. I recommend adding another dimension. Generally, this falls into 2 categories – meditation and some type of processing.

I'll be going into the various types of meditation and processing on my website, in webinars, and in private coaching. What I want to emphasize here, is the importance of a DAILY practice. Finding your stillness and peace within is very important for your health - physical, mental, and emotional. Doing something every day is the way you develop this positive habit and gain the benefits that accumulate. Creative thinking and shifts in perspective are enhanced when you go deeper than ordinary waking consciousness.

There are people who are successful in a number of areas of their life and have learned how to accomplish many things. The same people; however, may find it very difficult to sit still and be quiet regularly every day. Why is that? There are people who are anxious, in pain, looking for solutions, looking for love, looking for relief. Many of these people can't sit still and be quiet regularly every day. Why is that?

There is an outward pull and an incessant mental activity in the human condition. It's natural and nothing we have to fight. But to a obtain balance, we need to make sure we can access deeper levels within. You can do it. A daily practice starts reinforcing itself. Routines for processing your mental activity and emotions when you feel discomfort or resistance can be developed. You can learn to grow and experience more creatively every day.

I've been practicing meditation daily for over 40 years. I've used different forms at different times and am comfortable with using what works best each day. I've been practicing different release systems for over 15 years and have found that they integrate well with meditation. I can guide you and support you as you develop your daily practice.

About the Author

In my life, there are two main themes that are parallel and intertwined. In broad strokes, they could be described as spiritual and material. In my early twenties, I had a profound spiritual experience that changed my life forever. During the time of this transformation, I went to India, spent time with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and became an instructor of transcendental meditation.

When I returned to the states I initiated hundreds of people into meditation and began a lifelong journey to fulfill myself spiritually.

After completing graduate work in counseling psychology, I became the head counselor in a program for teenagers and young adults. Later, when I married, and had my first child, I started a career in business. I created and ran companies at both the retail and wholesale levels, with and without partners. I also served as a national marketing director for a manufacturing company.

Twice, I built companies to among the largest in the nation in their niche. Following that, I have worked as a small business advisor specializing in marketing and exit planning.

All during that time, I practiced meditation daily, led groups and taught individuals various spiritual practices. I also studied, practiced, and taught various “release” techniques. In the mid 90s, I graduated from CoachU to add those practical skills.
