A powerful secret of achieving our goals

Goals in life we all have—some are grand while others are modest—and we all want its attainment. Unfortunately, most of us prefer to settle on the illusory wondering of our minds. Instead of formulating viable plans that will serve as the foundations of materializing our goals, we waste our valuable resources—time and energy—engaging in the senselessness of idleness, perfect timing, superstition, someday syndrome, procrastination and laziness. If you have been like this then its time to wake up from these lies and start to make definitive actions.
The question posed is: HOW?
And the only answer is NOW.
I do not mean to confuse you, but to really make our goals a reality we have to set our awareness in the present moment and initiate some relevant ACTION: this is the only principle you need to follow when you want to achieve any goals in your life.
Stop dreaming of success unless you are making actions at the moment. Our future is weaved by our everyday accomplishments. It is foolishness to hope that our dreams will come true without making any associated efforts in the present; we have only deprived ourselves of the opportunity for the productive use of our precious time. A quote from the bible says:
“Faith without works is dead”
Remember, nothing emanates from nothing; if we don’t do our part of working on our goals everyday, then surely, nothing will be gained; even luck favors those who make an effort than those who blindly seek good fortune. By laying the bricks of our goals each day, we are able to clearly see definitive results.
So, any goals you have in mind? Do yourself a favor by making a move right NOW. Don’t wait for the “right” moment, such does not exist. Change will not manifest unless you put your mind and body to work at every possible moment. Don’t listen to the unfounded admonitions of your mind; never believe when it tells you that your aspirations are beyond your capacity. Everything you need you already have and you will never realize this until you do it now. Never ever set your goals in the “near” future because the future will always be immaterial: you cannot experience it. Now is the only reality where you can plant the seed of your goals.
Every waking moment of our lives we are given the opportunity to make use of our abilities. Sadly, we put much conce
on things that have never been. Rather than focusing on what is before us, we stick to the illusion of our worries; thus preventing us from doing what we have to do.
Don’t allow yourself to be a victim of false hope. Release yourself from the confines of your bitter past; let go of worrying about the uncertain future. Focus on what you have right now, put your mind and body to where it can affect change. Put yourself into action at this very moment. Whatever it is that you want to make a difference—be it on your relationship, finances, career, happiness and any endeavors you want achieved—do it now.
I leave you with this poem from Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Embrace this deeply and your world will change.
A PSALM OF LIFE
TELL me not, in mou
ful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream ! —
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.
Life is real ! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal ;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.
Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way ;
But to act, that each to-morrowr
Find us farther than to-day.
Art is long, and Time is fleeting,
And our hearts, though stout and brave,
Still, like muffled drums, are beatingr
Funeral marches to the grave.
In the world’s broad field of battle,
In the bivouac of Life,
Be not like dumb, driven cattle !
Be a hero in the strife !
Trust no Future, howe’er pleasant !
Let the dead Past bury its dead !
Act,— act in the living Present !
Heart within, and God o’erhead !
Lives of great men all remind usr
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind usr
Footprints on the sands of time ;
Footprints, that perhaps another,
Sailing o’er life’s solemn main,
A forlo
and shipwrecked brother,
Seeing, shall take heart again.
Let us, then, be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate ;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.
