Over the years it has become abundantly clear to me that people need to have what I call a "Spiritual Connection" of some kind. Having this connection feeds their Soul and generally makes them feel better about their lives and themselves.
Now, when I use the term "Spiritual Connection", or "Spirituality", I mea
ANYTHING that inspires you. A walk along the beach, sitting under a tree, reading an inspirational book, taking a break during the day to quietly sip a cup of tea or coffee, can all bring about a sense of peace and serenity.
I have also found that people do not notice the great works of Mother Nature nearly as often as they could or should.
An appreciation of the Wonders of Nature nourishes the Soul and makes you feel full and whole. Take a look around you on these clear winter nights, as the day starts to fade into night. There is "Magic" out there, everywhere! Incredible sunsets, a rainbow after a shower, birds singing and chattering in the trees, the silvery brilliance of the stars in the black night sky or the radiance of a full moon smiling down on you.
In the mad rush of living our lives, full of "things" to do and "places" to go, not to mentio
"deadlines and schedules" that must be met, our days and nights are packed. No wonder we feel overwhelmed! Do something unheard of....something wonderful....take time out for yourself! n Decide that no matter how busy you are, your going to slow down your pace and notice NATURE. Pack a bag lunch and go the nearest park and eat outside under the trees where you can breathe, where the sounds are soft and the wind is refreshing. Or make time to go for a walk in the evening when your busy day is done, notice the gardens of your neighbors and sounds and smells of eventide. Having a Connection with Spirit can be simple, let Nature work her "Magic" on you and in the process you will be feeding your Soul! Enjoy!
