If you’re walking in a store you might not notice them, or in a checkout, or at the ball field. But they are right there and if an emergency ever happened, you would be seeing them up close. They are the ones that care. I have always been truly amazed at how one person can steal the clothes off your back and another person would be there to replace them. Nice people give and continue giving until they can’t anymore. It is in their blood.
The nice, caring people that I’m referring to are all levels of our medical staff. Not just in this country at the big hospitals but across the oceans in the little tiny rooms that the doctors and nurses have to perform their miracles in. It is not just the medical field; it is the Search & Rescue, the Firefighters, the Police, and all tactical units as well. It is also the kindergarten teacher who is helping the little child to write his first letter a. Maybe that child will go to college.
They say everything happens for a reason and I truly believe that. I have had the privilege to be in close contact with medical personnel and although it is overwhelming just being in that environment, they made it easy to adjust. Some departments are evenly staffed while others could use more help and this just brings on a more stressful day for the worker. But there is a calming effect in knowing that you are attended to by the very best. I sit and watch the nurses bring the IV bags of different concoctions to their patience, remembering to ask name and DOB. You get a smile, “there you are all set, I’ll be back in a few minutes to check on you.”
The things they have seen are both good and bad. And it is from seeing this that they draw renewed strength to help the next person. They are all such a special breed of people, all because they care.
I was thinking that they have families at home too. You might get to hear about little Jr.’s baseball game or Sally’s soccer practice. Then you have other things that might be happening as well, the not so good things, divorce, or one of the children having problems in school, and so forth. But that doesn’t deter them from caring for you. Why? Because I truly believe that it is in their soul to help others and to make a difference in the quality of someone’s life.
I know I have not done this justice by writing this, but I am blesses to have come across their paths. I just wanted to acknowledge all their selflessness. I do know that the movers and shakers move the world, but I think that without the ones who care, it would be a much smaller world.
Thank you for being you! Thank you for all the sacrifices you've made!

Before I start this article about unsupportive people, I would like to explain some important details to you. In this article you will see how uncompassionate and narrow minded some of these people are. Let’s start by describing the unsupportive person; this person can be male or female, old or young, educated or uneducated, live in any part of the world, and be of any race or religion. Now that pretty much describes anyone walking this planet, but you can point them out by their utter lack of compassion for others.r

Sex and Body Image The link between what a woman feels about her body and her sexuality is becoming clearer and clearer with each research study. It’s also been estimated that over 40% of women have some sort of sexual dysfunction. Can the two be connected? I believe that they are indeed. If you are constantly focused on how you look, and specifically what your body looks like to yourself and others then you can’t really let go and surrender into great sex. Great sex comes from a complex soup of feeling vulnerable, safe, connected, and present in the moment.

When I was severely ill with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), the one constant factor in my somewhat restricted life was the unequivocal support I was given by my parents and my husband. If I hadn't received their love and encouragement on a daily basis, I know the journey would have been far tougher and more desperate at times.
