What could be more intoxicating than the delight, anticipation, adventure of romantic love?
It has the power to awaken our highest spiritual worth and fulfill our deepest need for belonging.
As a culture we are infatuated with the drama of Romance and addicted to the adrenalin.
Yet with all of its potential for spiritual growth we are ill-equipped for the psychological dynamics behind it.
By seeking passion and intensity for its own sake; we have lost connection to love’s most delicious expression and reduced it a compulsive addiction.
In our quick-fix instant downloadable world we stopped asking questions long ago. Questions that would have us examine our own spiritual values and find our own hidden truths.
We don’t want questions. We just want answers. We want them to be yes. We want them now. And we don’t want to work for them.
Without questions we lack Awareness.
Without Awareness there is no choice.
Without Choice there is no Freedom.
Without Awareness, Choice or Freedom our expectations, assumptions and addictions are running the show.
An unexamined life is egotistical and self-absorbed.
Following your basic impulses you enter into relationships already unrelated, unfulfilled, self-righteous and lonely.
Without even realizing it you begin imposing demands and expectations on your relationships that can never be met.
Depending on another as your source of happiness, purpose and fulfillment, you automatically behave in ways designed to control and manipulate them into providing what you cannot get for yourself.
Expectations are Toxic to Love.
Genuine love is a spontaneous identification with another. It arises from spirit as an authentic recognition, appreciation and value for who they truly are.
It means accepting them exactly as they are without expectations, finding joy and beauty in the simple ordinary things.
True Love involves loyalty, humility and commitment to another’s well being beyond your own cravings and desires.
It is about living true to your values with honor and dignity, happy to share everyday human life without the need for addictive drama.

4 Practices Necessary to Achieve Abundance in Your Life
Abundance is a hot topic these days. In one form or another it has always been around, though the way it is articulated changes. Abundance is as much an attitude as it is something objectively identifiable. It is a feeling, a sense, a comfortableness with who we are and what we have.
