The following case-study gives marriage and relationship break-up advice and demonstrates what can be achieved by practicing the simple self-help practice higher-consciousness healing as described in Tara’s book The Five-Minute Miracle.
Sally came to see me because she felt depressed and confused about a very traumatic break-up from her first marriage ten years earlier. At the time of the divorce Sally had three small children who she had left with her first husband. To her great grief, however, her children did not come very often to see her although she lived just ten minutes walking distance away from them.
As the years passed by all three children virtually stopped coming and Sally felt deeply sad, shocked and confused about this development. Sally said that leaving her children with their father had been the only option.
Sally’s first healing-symbol was aimed at overcoming her shock and sadness about the separation from her children. She had to breathe the colour of the symbol to herself and to her children with love. When Sally came back two weeks later she reported that her sadness had been considerably reduced and that her son had suggested teaching her martial arts once a week. That was a wonderful development for Sally.
However, Sally still felt hurt and angry towards her ex-husband who she felt had turned the children away from her. So, Sally’s next healing symbol was geared towards healing these painful feelings. As before, she saw her healing symbol in her heart and enveloped herself in a strong bubble of loving light. Then she saw her ex-husband being enveloped in a similar bubble of love and imagined that he would be a much nicer person if he was happy.
Two weeks later, Sally felt much better. She felt less of a victim and realized that she could have stood up more to her ex-husband. Her depression was gone and she felt good in herself and with her life. She told me with joy that all three children had visited her for her birthday, which is something they had never done before.
In parallel to this work, I asked Sally to write down her dreams for every area of her life and how she could benefit others by making her dreams come true. I also showed Sally how to visualise her wish to become an artist. Sally felt very excited about this prospect and made her first practical steps in this direction – something she didn’t have the confidence to do before.
On an emotional level Sally changed from a sad and victimised woman to somebody who was happy and full of ideas about how to move forward in her career and tap into her dormant reservoirs of creativity.
I had the chance to speak to Sally a few months later and she told me that she had largely maintained all her improvements.
Everybody can find relationship break-up advice and help to heal broken relationships by following the simple self-help exercises outlined in Tara Springett’s book The Five Minute Miracle.
