MEDICATION 101

You can walk into the home of over 90% of people over 50 and find approximately 10–20 MEDICATIONS next to the bed or in the medicine cabinet. Of course, I made up the number of 90%, however, I believe that I'm really close…maybe a little over, maybe a little under. Whatever the case, it's WAY too many.

We have truly become the medicated nation of our time. No doubt about that. We have "bought into" the idea that we NEED medication, by doctors, pharmacists, and practically everyone involved in the medical industry. We do NOT.

I learned, at a very early age, that our bodies do not REQUIRE medication. Your body can be missing Vitamin C, for example; it's NEVER going to be missing Kyoloquoriquine. That's a fictitious name, of course, so some pharmaceutical company doesn't accuse me of dissing their product. However, you catch my drift. The body only requires Vitamins Minerals, Amino Acids, Enzymes, and WATER from which it was created… the way it was intended.

We, as humans, have been uneducated about what our body's needs. ASK YOURSELF

-Did you learn about taking care of your body in school? -Or church? -Did you educate yourself on the pros & cons of taking care of your body
-Where exactly did you learn to take care of YOUR body? -Have you learned a little over the years or have you learned anything at all?

So we consume lots of food (void of nutrition), processed and FILLED with chemicals. Some of us don't feel we have to exercise or move our bodies in some manner, because it's not THAT important to our health, and most of us know little or nothing about DETOXING our bodies several times a year, and what exactly does that do? We're supposed to drink how much water? I don't think so! We've all heard such conversations.

Taking care of the ONE body that we have (just the basics) is a monumental task that seems to slip away from us, until we reach an age when a doctor has to tell us that we HAVE to HAVE a drug or drugs, from the pharmacy, to save our lives. We're never told WHY we got a disease or how to get rid of it, in the first place. There's no money in THAT.

(As I've mentioned in other articles, this does NOT mean you should STOP taking medication, if you're currently on it. That's dangerous. If you decide you'd like to be educated about 'original methods of healing', without medication, you can attend classes (online or offline). You can also consult Holistic doctors, Ayrvedic doctors, or Holistic practitioners, about helping you to gradually get off medications).

THE CHALLENGES OF TAKING MEDS

First and foremost, whenever you put a foreign substance (like a drug) into your system, your system questions what to do with that substance. If you're getting a pharmaceutical drug that is supposed to help your heart, for example, it MAY or MAY NOT help the heart, however, it has 50 to 100 side effects that cause other diseases. It has side effects because it doesn't belong in your body.

I believe pharmacists believe they're doing the right thing by creating CHEMICALS for the masses. They may actually think they're helping you. Some of the companies who distribute the drugs may not be so innocent; even some pharmacists themselves are not so innocent, however, they make extreme 'profits' on their drugs, and they're constantly raising the rates. It's most definitely a money-driven industry; not a health-driven industry. You need to think hard and deep about that one, in the land of Sick Care.

Our priorities, as a society, have been misused and abused. The results of this are showing themselves everyday…NOW, more than ever. Do you want to keep spending excessive money on drugs that exchange one disease for another? Of course you don't.

Like I said before, if you get some relief from a drug for a specific illness, the rest of your body, is in jeopardy of creating a disease or diseases you didn't know existed. It may take 1 year, 2 years, or MORE to come to fruition. Anyway you look at it, it's COMING.

WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT

First and foremost, you have to shift your MINDSET. You have to WANT to feel healthy for LIFE. I mean you REALLY have to WANT it. If you're eating the Standard American Diet (SAD), get educated. Begin researching info on what your body needs. Because only fruits, vegees and non-cooked foods actually give you any nutrition, your diet can look pretty limited on the surface. You can change that into SCRUMPTIOUS DELIGHTS OF ALL KINDS. Drink SMOOTHIES in between whatever you eat, to begin your body getting chocked with nutrition.

There are thousands of mixtures. Plant-based meats NOW almost taste like you're eating meat and come in all forms. Have FUN with it! Design some quick WELLNESS SHAKES & DESIGNER MEALS with fruits and vegees. It's 2020. Let GOOGLE be your friend.

You can also add whole food supplements. So many of us go to the drugstore to buy vitamins, minerals and OTHER substances, believing that's a healthy choice. Unfortunately, It's more akin to "expensive urine." You can get whole food supplements at the health food store; however, YOU MUST ASK because the "expensive urine" brands are also sold there too. If it's not a whole food supplement of some kind, vitamins from the drugstore are filled with chemicals too.

Here are a few helpful places to get WHOLE FOOD SUPPLEMENTS:

HTTP://STOPAGINGNOW.COM has an entire list of top-notch supplements for your brain, your eyes, your heart and anything else you can think of.

HTTP://PURITYPRODUCTS.COM is also great for quality products.

HTTP://DNAJANESKA1.FOREVERHEALTHYPRODUCTS.COM is the ONLY product of its kind that repairs and revitalizes your DNA or life force.

These are what seniors and youth alike should have next to the bed stand. Products that BUILD your system; not DRUGS that destroy the ONLY body we have. Getting antioxidants and plenty of BODY BUILDING nutrients is a MUST in the aging process. Aches, pains, arthritis, et al DO NOT have to be a part of aging 2020.

SEEKING THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF HEALTH If supplements, good food, exercising, or walking in supreme sunshine daily doesn't dent your ill health, Paramahansa Yogananda, an Indian Yogi, says once your soul becomes connected to the Divine, from WITHIN your body

-all physical suffering, -mental inharmonies, and
-spiritual ignorance, CEASE TO EXIST.

SO MEDITATE, DON'T MEDICATE.

About the Author

Janeska Smith Asante was born in New York, New York on a frigid winter night in November. Her mother had gone to New York to keep her pregnancy a secret from her parents, even though she was at least 26 years old. To hide her pregnancy, even further, she weighed the idea of throwing Janeska over the Brooklyn Bridge, for at least 24 hours. However, she couldn’t do it, and less than a month later, Janeska ended up living with her Cherokee grandmother, on a steep hill, in a great little yellow house, smack dab in the middle of the country…Omaha, Nebraska.

Her grandmother was a diabetic and she was often sick; so before even attending school, Janeska’s grandmother taught her to grow herbs and food in the garden. She taught her how to wash dishes, clean the house, and wash clothes. At 4-years-old, she was responsible for giving her grandmother Diabetes shots and putting her to bed with HER doll (who happened to be larger tha
Janeska).
All of her grandmother’s friends, became Janeska’s friends. They were all over 80 and looked at Janeska as their helper and their pathway to healing. Everyday, she was creating herbal concoctions (from the garden) and preparing them for her grandmother’s friends.

There were no children who lived in her grandmother’s neighborhood. So, Janeska just read health and healing books (most of the day) that came from her grandmother’s church, the Sharon Seventh Day Adventist Church of Omaha.

Janeska thought this was normal, for kids, since she didn’t have anything to compare it to, yet.

Her granddad was a Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) minister and health and healing was a HUGE topic in the SDA Church Community. Her grandmother didn’t really pay much attention to the Health aspect as she should, yet Janeska absolutely LOVED this information. She thought that the food part of the Adventist teachings were fabulous and she spent every chance she got reading and experimenting with the herbs and remedies taught (from the Bible, from Jethro Kloss, from Ellen G. White, and other ‘whole body teachers’ of our time.

She was healing the elderly before she entered nursery school and she realized she came here with a gift and a knowledge far beyond her years. She even kept her grandmother from getting her leg cut off that doctors insisted must happen, simply from what she knew and studied, at the ripe old age of 4.

This is HOW it all started. Throughout the rest of her life, she continued to research and practice what she knew. After graduation from the University of Nebraska, with a degree in Jou
alism, she tripled her research and study, helping many people along the way. After that, she became Certified in Hypnotherapy & Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). She added an emotional component of her healing practice, which many people don’t realize is at the core of their illnesses.

Janeska is also a Self Realization Fellowship member, founded by Paramahansa Yogananda, who initiated and taught Mahatma Ghandi Kriya Yoga and meditation, which is also a huge part of the Mind-Body-Spirit Connection she uses when it comes to health and healing. She became a Kriya Yoga initiate, like Ghandi, in 2018.

She created a Customized Chart for clients and others, to see what areas they need help in. She sends the chart out through email and does online sessions for whomever requests it.

Once she analyzes the Chart, she gives recommendations in all areas of one’s being…Mind, Body & Spirit, so each person is guided to the right things to do to correct inharmonies in the body.

Over the last 3 - 4 decades, Janeska has created a wide range of skills. She’s the author of 3 books (revolving around health and politics), wrote news for KABC (American Broadcasting Company), been a researcher of Mind, Body, Spirit Health, done Event Planning and Produced Events, been a former assistant editor for Essence Magazine, and founded ‘It’s All Connected, Inc.’, a Mind, Body, Spirit Company, which is currently spreading its message of self-healing and inner joy, to all those souls in search of these things.

Recently, my wife and I went on vacation, and I had to explain to my nine year-old son why it was just the two of us going. I explained that mom and I needed time for just the two of us, just like he and I spend father and son time.

How many times do you just wolf-down your meal in a mad rush to finish before getting back to work? How many times are you eating out of obligation to just eat? How many times do you see undigested food in your stool? Gross, I know! Do you have food allergies? If you answered “Yes” to any of these questons it is likely you need to retrain yourself in how to eat on purpose. 1. Maintain regular and consistent mealtimes. It is better to eat five smaller meals than three large meals.

Children are to a degree necessarily imbalanced. They are in a constant state of change. Children seek to discover the limits of their control over their environment. What has become known as childhood infectious illnesses are the training ground of achieving and maintaining balance in their life as an adult. The ability to react appropriately to stimuli is a learning process. If a lion comes up and bites you, you should bleed! If a child is challenged by microbes their body should react appropriately by producing a fever and the lymph nodes should be activated.

I was just a young doctor when I first toured the Heidelberg Castle in Germany. As is the case in many castles in Europe the narrow passage was dank and poorly lit. What light there was cast eerie shadows on the carefully placed stones that made up the walls leading to the alchemy lab. A sign on the wall read “No Photographs May Be Taken of the Alchemy Lab!” It struck me as odd at the time, that one could take pictures of any other room in the monstrously large Heidelberg Castle, just not this one.
