One of the best ways to get a major upsurge in energy and wellness is to take care of your liver. Fortunately, there are simple, effective ways to get this done, and I have organized them into a straightforward liver cleanse recipe that you can do at home.
We know how many people have major liver diseases like cirrhosis, hepatitis, and liver cancer, but there are millions of people who have liver problems without knowing it. They have symptoms like chronic fatigue, blurred vision, allergies, difficulty concentrating, and depression – a whole raft of problems that do not go away until the liver is taken care of.
The symptoms of a slow and sluggish liver are very broad and much more widespread than most of us realize - so cleansing the liver can go a long way to restoring health and vitality and clearing up all kinds of long-standing conditions. All of my patients benefit from following this liver cleanse recipe, some dramatically.
My liver cleanse recipe consists of 4 liver cleansers. You can mix them any way you like and you can skip any components except for the first one.
1. Proper hydration is essential to any detox program. This component cannot be skipped. Fortunately, it is the easiest to take care of. Plenty of pure water (which is not available from the tap!) with a slice of lemon will get the process started. Ideally, you would add electrolytic minerals or zeta crystals to the water. The amount of water you need depends on your weight, but the general notion of 8 x 8 ounce glasses a day is a good one.
2. Milkthistle, dandelion root, oregon grape root, artichoke leaf, beet leaf, and fennel seed all work to open, clear and repair the liver. They are available as a compound, usually as a single tincture. A 30-day treatment with this tincture, added to red clover tea, can tone up the liver and get it working much better.
3. Do a liver flush using an olive oil drink and potassium broth, accompanied by a restricted diet for 5 days. This can provide a tremendous long-lasting boost to your energy level and wellness.
4. Coffee enemas. Some people are reluctant to do coffee enemas, but the fact is, they are an excellent way to flush the liver and gall bladder, with the added bonus of clearing the colon.
Even as you read these words, your liver is filtering toxins on your behalf. When your liver is vibrant and healthy, so are you! That's why I recommend a liver detox to all of my patients. I have published on the web complete step-by-step instructions for hydration, milkthistle-dandelion tincture, the liver flush, and coffee enemas.

Breast Health Awareness
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each year the media and proponents of ‘fighting against Breast Cancer’ beat the drums that focus on what one wants to avoid instead of focusing on what one wants to create – Healthy Breasts.
