If you are getting out of bed in the morning more tired than when you went to bed the night before, consider this your wake-up call. there may be more on your mind than you realize. We call this stress! Stress comes in all kinds of clothing. It can come from having "too much on your plate" during the day; a boss who piles on more and more work without having knowledge about how the job needs to be done in order to be done right. It might come in the form of a too-long commute to work, so that by the time you even get there you are worn out. It could be dissonance in your home life, a child or spouse who never seems to be happy or appreciative of what you are doing and being for them. So why Are you getting out of bed tired and hopeless? And is there anything you can do to turn this around?
Well maybe...here is a list with a few tips you can use to manage your own energy on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis.
* Before you even get out of bed, take an inventory of your body. that's right. We have something inherent within ourselves, call it a sense register, that gives us a lot of information about how we really are.
* Learn a few simple mental practices to clear your energy and renew for the day ahead.
* Begin the day by drinking two full glasses of water, and then replenish as often as you can think of it.
* Script your day for five minutes before you leave for work.
* Take a "breathing break" at least five times during the day, whether you are at work, or working for the family. Just stop and breathe deeply for 30 seconds.

All of these practices are small ways for you to manage the fatigue and subsequent negative emotions that accumulate over time. Mental practices are as simple as imagining your body filled with white or golden light. Water nourishes and flushes the system, and can be a quick way of re-charging. Scripting is actually a jou
aling practice. Taking not more than five minutes to think about how you would really want your day to go, and be specific, can change big habits one step at a time. Lastly, breathing, and remembering to breathe deeply a number of times a day, will quiet the racing mind and give you a tremendous boost of energy. Remember that we NEED oxygen all of the time! Our brains need oxygen to live!

As you practice these simple things, you may find that you have a much greater feeling of peace and ease than when you began. Start with one practice tomorrow, and add the rest as you feel comfortable. And bring back some ease into your day!
