With Spring comes the beginning of Aries. The earth is resurrected by the powers of our Creator. The ancients believed that when God created the elements the sun was in Aries. The universal focus for this time is "Behold, I make all things new." (Rev.21:5)
Each one of us is the "center of the cosmos." "As above, so below." According to Jin Shin Jyutsu, there is a pattern of the life force in the body that is called, "The Divine Presence (Creator) in the honorific center of the Cosmos." As the patterns of nature evolve, we also participate in the "creative spring" coming from our spirit within.
Aries is a fiery force that burns out the dross of old nature - Winter. As the seed bursts forth from the earth so does the divine soul expression of humankind come to the surface for evolution. Each Spring brings the promise of new life and new hope. In the life of Jesus the Christ, this is symbolized by the burial in the tomb, in preparation for the resurrection of Easter morn.
The "Christ" is an office or position we ALL attain to. When Jesus rolled away the stone, He set the pattern for all men and women. The rite of Spring signifies the symbolic death of the lower personality to the birth of the higher self.
The Easter season celebrates the "mating" of the feminine and masculine aspects of God Goddess. When the divine feminine finally is brought to Her equal place with the divine masculine, we will see the beginning of the Golden or Diamond Age.
The archangel Raphael presides over this time of year. Raphael is known as the angel of healing, the angel of immortality, and the angel of the Holy Grail. He is known as the "god" Mercury or Hermes. His staff is called the Caduceus, the modern medical symbol. The Caduceus pictures two snakes rising, entwined, and represents the Kundalini rising. The Kundalini is the life force of the body. It is coiled at the base of the spine. When awakened, the life force energy rises through the chakras and brings enlightenment to the soul.
There is a legend that every evening Raphael gathers the prayers for healing from earth and carries them to the throne of God. The prayers are transformed into fragrant blossoms and are borne down from Heaven by angels who bring comfort to those in need.
The Saturday night before Easter becomes a special night for baptism. The word baptism is to signify, "bringing to sight." Let this season be a time of clarity of vision that dissolves the veil between the two worlds. Let Heaven be created in us and on our home, Mother Earth. Let each one of us be resurrected in consciousness to become the Christed men and women we are destined to be.
Remember these words, for they are for each one of us ..."HE IS RISEN."
