Are you one of the people who are using articles in promoting their ebusiness and their products in the online arena? Then, it’s imperative that you know how to create perfect articles so you can easily attract the attention of your potential clients. Don’t know how to do it? Then, this guide is for you.
1. The title. Keep in mind that this is the first thing that your target audience will see. Make it as inviting as possible. Based on experience, your target audience will most likely to open your articles if your titles are powerful, emotionally charged, or benefit driven. Titles that contain phrases like top 10 tips, secrets revealed, how to, etc. don’t fail in attracting so much attention in the online arena.
2. Topics. There are certain things that you need to consider when choosing your topics. Is it something that your target audience will find interesting? Is it related to the product that you sell or to the theme of your website? Will it help you showcase your expertise in your niche? Will it help in earning the trust and confidence of your prospects?
3. The first paragraph. Like it or not, online users will decide if they’ll read on based on your first paragraph or introduction. If these people are not impressed with your first couple of sentences, you cannot expect them to read until the end. So, make your introduction as compelling as your headlines. Get your readers on the edge of their seats by giving them thought provoking ideas or by promising them that they’ll get useful information by reading your articles. Make sure that you deliver exactly what you promised.
4. Article body. Take all the time that you need when writing your article body. Be creative and strive to impress your readers all the way. Load each of your paragraphs with useful information. Ensure that your grammar is perfect and that you spell all the words correctly. Your articles must be free from run on sentences and complicated paragraphs. They must also be well organized and easy to read.
5. Use conversational tone. There is no need to sound very formal when writing your articles. Put your readers at ease by writing the same way you talk. I would recommend that you insert stories and examples related to your topic as this will make your articles more interesting to read. Also, use lay man’s term all the time and ask questions every now and then to engage your readers.
6. Keep it short. Most online users do not have the patience for lengthy articles. These people will appreciate it if you tell them the information they need to know without wasting too much of their time. Write your articles without using fillers and do not beat around the bush. Your articles should contain no more than 800 words. If you have more ideas to share, I would recommend that you create article series instead.
