Parallel Universes: The Theory

Topic: Life PurposeBy Burt GoldmanPublished Recently added
At one point in history, people were convinced that earth was a special sphere located in a special place within the universe, however, the telescope allowed scientists to peer into deep space and prove otherwise. The idea now shared by scientists and non-scientists alike is that there are numerous universes exactly like ours out there. Scientific theories are often established through induction, that is; observing particular instances and applying it to the whole, take for example, you place seven cups of water in the freezer, and upon grabbing one of these cups you find that it is frozen, it is only logical to draw the conclusion that the rest too are frozen, another example, whenever heat is applied to ice it melts, upon observing this only once you must draw the same conclusion about every single ice behaving in the same fashion; this is induction proper. Now, let's examine the theory of parallel universes. Utilizing the technique given in the examples above, scientists where able to demonstrate that particles exist in more than one place, in that they were unable to pinpoint its exact location; these particles appeared in many places at the same time. Heisenberg's uncertainty principle affirms the notion; it states that an electro "must" be in more than one place at one time. However they did not stop there, scientists further argued that since we and everything around us are made of these same particles, it is highly likely that there are numerous copies of our universe, along with numerous copies of earths and many copies of you and everyone else. Many are almost certain that the universe we live in is not the only one, that is to say, there may exist many hidden worlds that are beyond human senses. Although the parallel universes theory sounds too science fiction, mathematical calculations pointed to other dimensions beyond our four dimensions, our four dimensions may described as left to right, back to front, up and down; Einstein added time as the fourth dimension. Scientists hold that there are seven other dimensions that we are unaware of and that the 11th dimension may lead to parallel universes. It was also argued that these parallel universes may be infinite in number, and that every possible invent that may happen actually happens in each and every one of these universes, similar to rolling dices, every possible number will turn up.
