Astrology/Numerology Personalities for August

The following is an except from my latest book Numerology of Astrology: Degrees of the Sun. With some exceptions those born on the first of August have the sun 9 degrees in Leo. These descriptions are written for old souls who have been on the planet many times and are nearing the time to face their dark side, integrate Self, complete the karmic cycle and evolve further into a new dimension.

The verbatim description is not going to exactly fit every single person with this degree. It is important to look at the archetypal meaning and adjust to the circumstance of the person’s life. Probably the name from this group that most people recognize is Peter O' Toole or Chuck D.

If this is your sun sign you are somewhat softer with your approach to matters than many of your Leo contemporaries. This combination takes little of the edge off of the strong Leo ego and directs some of the energy from the individual to conce
for the whole. You are a humanitarian at heart and may serve with philanthropic organizations or give to them generously when you are able. That can apply to personal relationships as well. You can be a most generous friend and or lover, and you bright and fiery personality lights up the show wherever you go. You are doggedly determined to somehow contribute to a better world, and will take a leadership role to do that when you believe in the organization or people you support.

Placing too much trust in others, however, can sometimes lead to grave disappointment. You must guard against becoming so idealistic that you do not see red flags in the behavior of those to whom you have given trust. There is the karmic hint at having been so blinded in another time and place, to the point that did not see actual harm or abuse being administered to others by those in whom you believed. Once discovered you were shocked and thrown into remorse, distrust and despair. You are clearly learning discretion at this time. Be careful how you choose and who you choose.

You may well find yourself in some dramatic role, either on stage or in life itself. Along with the usual Leo magnetism, there is a certain ethereal quality about many of you that makes people intrigued about who you are and how you got to where you are. You are most happy where you can help awaken and enlighten others to the joy of self discovery.
