The following is an except from my latest book Numerology of Astrology: Degrees of the Sun. With some exceptions those born on the first of July have the sun 9 degrees in cancer. These descriptions are written for old souls who have been on the planet many times and are nearing the time to face their dark side, integrate Self, complete the karmic cycle and evolve further into a new dimension.
The verbatim description is not going to exactly fit every single person with this degree. It is important to look at the archetypal meaning and adjust to the circumstance of the person’s life. Probably the name from this group that most people recognize is Princess Diana.
If this is your sun sign there is an air of the sacrificial lamb about this combination that suggests the path of martyrs and myths. Your heart weighs heavily with the hardships and suffering of mankind. You are driven to do something to lessen the burden so many endure. Earlier in your life this may not be so easy, since you are likely overwhelmed by emotional pain and hardships of dysfunction that leaves its scars upon your behavior. There is the karmic suggestion of previous self indulgence and so you may much that is given to you and then taken away. Many of you are gifted with rarified talents or creative abilities that tap into powerful archetypes within the human psyche.
You have an eye for art and the fine things of life and may well pursue an artistic talent of some sort. This may be as an avocation or perhaps full time profession. The drama and excitement pertaining to your life makes you a magnet for friends and associates who like to bathe in the aura of your wide ranging experiences. You seek the comfort of a loving relationship and will devote yourself to the one who your love. Your high expectations and unwillingness to look at the dysfunctional issues in advance, set you up for disappointment in the intimacy department.
