Even in this rough economy, investors who have created a successful marketing system are able to breathe easy as eager buyers and sellers are beating a path to their door. That’s the true beauty of a system that works – having your prospects automatically come to you, instead of having to sell all the time. And once you have created credibility, and consistency within your marketing, that’s exactly what will happen. Here’s how to do it: Take full advantage of the Web: The Internet has leveled the playing field and provides many chances to connect with your target market; often for free. Twitter and Facebook are prime examples of this. You can speak, one on one, to prospects and create a dialogue that is both revealing and rewarding. Not only can you use the Internet to market like a pro, you can gain a large amount of market research and find out, directly from the consumer, what’s going on in their world. As I’m sure you know, at the end of the day, it’s relationships - not sales pitches - that will net you the most profit. Offer quality free information to develop trust and credibility: How’s the old saying go? Don’t tell me what you know – show me. That sums up what the typical buyer or seller is looking for when making major decisions. By offering free information that is useful to your target market, you’re setting yourself apart from the competition and showing that your focus is on helping them, rather than just lining your pockets with cash. The best way to put this type of thing on autopilot is to create at least one free report and offer it on your site. Make sure your visitors give you their email in exchange for the report. Then, you can put them into an automated email series, which provides them more information and resources. The secret to making this work really well is to include soft selling techniques and copywriting tricks into the language of the reports and emails. If you’re pressed for time, or just don’t want to study the art of proper copywriting, there are templates you can purchase that have all those elements included and provide proven content that converts prospects into clients. Target motivated sellers: Together with your regular marketing efforts, you should spend some time targeting those going through major life transitions – divorce, relocation, probate, etc. These individuals can be a tremendous source of income and referrals for your business. They key here is to be respectful of their current situation, while still putting critical marketing elements into the letter. Again, there are templates available, which allow you to just copy and paste should you prefer to go this route. There’s never been a better time to create a lucrative business with real estate investing. They key is to establish relationships with prospects, and build a certain level of rapport. By using proven automated real estate investing methods such as the Internet, and captivating marketing pieces that both inform and entice the prospect into wanting to do business with you, you’ll create a winning formula that literally brings prospects to you and puts money in your pocket.
