What, do
aura readings nof a double amputee? Of course, I'm game. The amputee is a South African runner who just set a historic precedent, having won permission to compete in the Olympics. Judges decided that the J-shaped feet on his prosthetics do not give him a significant advantage over other runners.
Advantage? Duh!
I've known just one person who had this operation, his right leg cut up to the thigh. My grandfather, Hugo Rosenbaum, was an athlete also, nearly a hundred years ago.
Quite the gymnast, they considered him, for someone doing handsprings in his little German village. This brave man fought for his country in World War I, was captured and jailed in Russia. With the Russian revolution, prisons were opened. Hugo escaped, hitchhiking his way across Europe.
Later, Hugo and his sister, Rosa, saw the threat posed by Hitler; they worked together to bring more than 30 families safely to New York, giving them a place to stay while they learned English, got jobs, moved out.
It took 16 years, helping one family at a time, all this accomplished before quotas kept other Jews out. Hugo was spunky, all right. Yet when I was in high school, he seemed impossibly old, like all my grandparents, and no relatives had told me yet about his courageous history.
After Hugo's right leg was amputated, I flinched from the sight of him walking: Hiding terror, fighting a primal fear, brittle, every step a triumph of will over pain. Within a year Hugo was dead of other causes.
Based on these memories, it's amazing to me that someone could have the physical courage to even walk with an artificial leg. Or walk on two. Or run, even the tiniest bit.
HOW OSCAR DOES IT
Yet Oscar Pistorius does just that. He's a sprinter, doing what he can to represent his country, South Africa, in the Olympics.
To read his aura from action photos like

PHYSICAL PRESENCE DATABANK at the Root Chakra
Oscar is barely present, energetically. Instead, his awareness shifts to an astral-level version of his own body where his body is whole and well. As part of the triumph involved here, be aware that this is different from a phantom limb experience, well known to researchers.
Oscar can't remember a time when he possessed healthy strong legs. Born without a fibula in either leg, he grew up with prosthetics. From the aura reading above, I move into an empathic merge to understand better how he is in this body.

COMPETITION DATABANK at the Solar Plexus Chakra
Pistorius channels a lifetime of frustration into winning. It's fascinating to watch that databank pop out.

If you're doing your own aura readings from his photo, first go into his sense of Physical Power databank, or Willpower databank, or Self-Confidence databank, all at the same chakra location. Each one shows a modest amount of strength, tough but smaller than most people have. Then shift into reading this extraordinary databank: Competition.
When Oscar is competing, that auric projection moves out, from the third layer of his aura, from five inches to a mile.
SPIRITUAL CONNECTION DATABANK at the Third Eye Chakra
Here Oscar is huge. He connects to world consciousness, running on behalf of the cohort of souls who are living with any kind of physical disability. Does he do this consciously or not? That's the first question I'd ask him, were I a big-time media reporter.
One way or another, he's so connected and graced. Think runner's high. Then expand the size of that exponentially.
In
this photo,Oscar is really hitting his stride. Having just the one photo doesn't reveal the context. • Is Pistorius getting a second wind? • Or has he just come close to the finish line? • Maybe a rainbow of light has appeared, visible only to him.
In any case, even his
body language shows greater freedom. Note the outreached right arm, the new angle to the other bent arm. See the greater length of stride. Something is happening inside him, and what does that mean in terms of his aura?
At the spiritual connection databank, the South African sprinter feels that, once again, his meditative exercise has manifested real results. He hasn't given himself a new body but acted as if that body were real, and done it so convincingly that it is... for this race... exactly the same thing.nn
