So how do you know when an offer is a scam and when it is genuine? Simple. When there is a lot more in it for them than there is for you. Think about each offer logically. I recently had someone telling me he was a well qualified builder, very popular, had a huge business before he moved yet offering to work for me at a very cheap price. He did not have an office or a proper phone number or any customers. It was obvously untrue and he was relying on me wanting a bargain to agree. But I realised it was better to hire someone with a proper working history and pay them a bit more. If he had been good I would have felt guilty about not paying him enough but I knew he was a chancer.

It saddens me to see more and more psychic websites springing up which play on people in the same way. They offer so called free readings. It seems genuine because they say they do not ask for money but they are asking you for your trust and your time, two very important things! In my experience they are either giving you a very short free reading where they then tell you that you must have a longer and very expensive one or they tell you that you are cursed and offer to remove this (non existent) curse for a high fee. How on earth could they really stay in business if they were always working for free and why would they bother if they were popular?!
