As you start your career selling on eBay, one thing is for certain. You need to ensure that you get the most positive feedback possible, since this is what helps you to grow your business. Initially, any negative feedback will kill your sales. But, over time, having a mostly positive feedback score will help you to increase sales. Still, every single negative feedback matters and therefore, you need to do everything you can to avoid negative feedback on eBay.
There are many things you can do to accomplish that. One of the first things to do is to provide only honest, clear listings. Nothing you write within your eBay listing should be untrue. For example, if you include the wrong measurements of a product, this could cause a problem for the buyer who in turn will happily leave negative feedback for you. Be sure that every line of your listing includes information.

Next, be sure to respond to your buyer when they ask questions. For example, if you wish to avoid negative feedback on eBay, one of the most important things you can do is to respond to questions and comments both before and after the auction expires. Even if you did have a winning bidder who asked questions before the auction ended, being clear, polite and thorough will help them to think highly of their experience working with you. This way, you end up with a good relationship between customer and business.

Finally, do what you said you were going to do.

• Send packages when you state you will.
• If you promise that the package will be shipped ove
ight, do so.
• Ensure the package gets your attention, too, such as ensuring the item within is fully protected.
• If you say you will get back to someone in 24 hours, do so.
• If you state that you will let them know when the package has been shipped, do so.

Each of these aspects will play a large role in your success on eBay. The experience the consumer gets is what will translate in your feedback score. To avoid negative feedback, simply provide good service.
