I was asked the other day: What life principles contribute to your happiness? Well, there are so many from different sources. However, in Reiki there are 5 principles which are rooted in a practice reminding us to begin anew every day. Plus, you don't have to be religious or a Reiki practitioner to find benefit from them.
Life can be hard but if we take a deep breath into each challenging moment we can meet the difficulty head on with some grace. This takes practice. In Reiki these 5 daily principles are reminders to take it easy on yourself and others while being kind, working hard and showing appreciation for life.
If you're having a rough day, here are a few tips that might turn it around.
5 Reiki Principles:
1) Just for today do not anger.
2) Just for today do not worry.
3) Give thanks for your many blessings (parents, teachers, neighbors).
4) Make an honest living.
5) Be kind to everything that has life.

Are you willing to commit yourself to Love - the infinite presence of Spirit in your soul? If so, there are certain basic principles we need to understand about how we love. In our mentally polarized cultures that are dominated by a male energy that emphasizes doing and producing, we often unconsciously feel that in order to love we must act in certain ways.
