Written by Jason Sanders
Tired of dieting, the endless working hours at the gym and no substantial result? Contrary to what people believe, there is no permanent and quick way of being lean and having that perfectly shaped body. Being lean refers to having a thin yet toned up and healthy body. Either most of the methods that people use do not work or are effective for a very short duration.
It is actually our lifestyle habits that push us towards obesity and lethargy. Moreover, it is just about fixing these habits slowly and steadily, only then can you ensure a permanent effect on your body. People will be ecstatic on seeing their new self once they have achieved their desired body but, what they forget is that their lifestyle will bring them back from where they started.
Actually, the trick behind being fit lies with the easiest and basic methods which you are unaware of. The first thing we need to take care of is our water intake. More than gulping down glasses of water we need to keep in view the right time and quantity of water. Having a glass of water the moment you wake up and 30 minutes before your each meal can do wonders for your skin, internal organs and staying fit.
Another blunder which is a part of many people's lifestyle is that they do not know that sleeping , lying down or sitting immediately after a meal delays your digestive process. It is extremely essential to have a mild walk after each meal for better digestion.
Cutting down on your intake of meat can save you from a number of diseases like cancer, asthma, diabetes, etc. The simple reason behind this is that no meat means that your taking lesser calories, less saturated fat and cholesterol. Whereas, intake of fruits and vegetables means that you are having more vitamins, minerals and fiber.
The simplest forms of easy exercise like jumping a rope, riding a bicycle, brisk walk, etc. have more chances of being a part of daily routine than hours of exercises at the gym.
Having your own kitchen garden can save you a lot of cash as well as calories. Fruits and vegetables, without the use of pesticides and fertilizers, brings you the nutrients in their purest form.
Lastly, it is extremely important not to diet excessively as it can deprive the body of essential nutrients. The trick is to have healthy food in adequate quantity. Remember, if you are not healthy from within a toned body is not going to stay with you for long.
