The other is Electric one, which runs on electricity and also comes with a backup battery. This battery ensures that the lift works even when there is no electricity.

These wheelchair lifts can be set up in a person's house, for example in houses having more than one floor. These lifts will give the immobile person back his independence as they no longer need to depend on any other person to move from one floor to other. There are also automobile wheelchair lifts that help lifting a person on a wheelchair into a car or van. There are a lot of varieties available and one has to take care that he/she meets the requirements before they buy the lift.
