The prostate is a chestnut-shaped male reproductive gland that sits beneath the bladder, surrounding the urethra, which serves as a passageway for both urine and semen. There are a number of disorders that commonly affect the prostate. Nearly every man over 45 years of age has some form of prostate enlargement, a condition that can be harmless and without noticeable symptoms. The consistency of the prostate tissue is what determines a Mans symptoms. Some men have no problem because their prostate relaxes enough to allow the urine to pass through. Others find it much harder to urinate. Often the muscles surrounding the bladder will compensate for this stiffened, rigid prostate.
Symptoms:
*increased urgency to urinate
*need to urinate more frequently (especially at night)
*delay in urinationn *slow stream of urine flown* incomplete emptying of the bladder and recurring bladder infections
Some remedies to consider:
Saw Palmetto 320 mg of a 85-90% Standardized extract daily
Pygeum 160 mg daily
Zinc 50 mg along with a 5mg cooper daily
Selenium 200 mcg daily
Vitamin C 1,000 mg daily
Fish Oils 3,000 mg daily
PROSTATITIS
Prostatitis: Inflammation and congestion of the prostate usually caused by an underlying bacterial infection.
Symptoms:
*High fever with chills *sense of urgency to urinaten*increased urinary frequency *burning urination
*serious pain in prostate area (might even feel like you are sitting on a ball)
*testicular pain.
*sometimes even bodily aches and pains!

Homeopathic ( Chimaphila) 4 pellets of 30c for times a day for 2-3 daysn(For constant urge to pass urine)
Oregano: antibacterial properties. (75mg of standardized extract times n Times a day)
Uva Ursi: 500mg or 30 drops every two waking hours
Homeopathic (Thuya) 5 drops three times a day; or 4 pellets 3X a day
Echinacea/Goldenseal: 500 mg every 2 waking hours (not for Blood type “0”, they need to take Astragulus or Elderberry)!
Pygeum: anti-inflammatory properties. 100 mg 2 times a day
Men with chronic prostititis usually also have an underlying issue with BPH. They might want to consider following the program of BPH for improvement!

Sabal serrulata: helpful for frequent nighttime urination. Take one dose of Sabal 12x or 6c in the morning, and another does in the late afte
oon for up to 10 days. You will be very happy with the results!
Causticum: Can ease a frequent desire to pass urine combined with difficulty in doing so. This is a good remedy for those that eject a small spurt of urine involuntarily when coughing, sneezing or even laughing. Take on dose of Causticum 12x or 6c three (3) times a day for three (3) days.
Clematis erecta: This remedy is good if the urine flows in a thin stream, almost as if the urethra is obstructed. Those that need this remedy may almost feel the need to urinate frequently and experience dribbling after urination. Take one dose of Clematis 12x or 6c three (3) times a day for three (3) days.
Chimaphila umbelatta: this works well for the constant urge to pass urine, despite the fact that urination is difficult to start and urine is passed in small amounts. You will find that spreading your legs apart makes it easier to urinate. Take one does of Chimaphilia umbellatta 12x or 6c three (3) times a day for three (3) days.
