Bible Salvation

Bible salvation is the only kind of real salvation. There is no other way to be saved from ete
al condemnation other then the way God tells us in the bible. You must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ according to what the scriptures say in order to be saved!

Praying the traditional sinners prayer will not save you because there is no where in the Bible where this is taught. Many people think that if they ask Jesus into their hearts that they will be saved, but there is no mention of this anywhere in the bible. This prayer or any similar prayer will not save you because there is no where in the bible where it is stated that you need to ask Jesus into your heart.

What must you do in order to be saved is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ by what the bible says about who Christ is and His way of salvation. Romans 10:9: “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Jesus Christ comes into your heart by believing in Him and not by asking Him. When you believe in Jesus He will come into your heart automatically. Some people ask Jesus to come into their hearts without really believing in Him and therefore they are not really saved. We are saved by faith not by asking (Eph. 2:8). This is what bible salvation means.

What does it mean to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ? There are 3 important things that you need to consider about what the bible says that believing on Christ really means when it comes to biblical salvation.

1. When you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ then you will believe in that person and what He believes. In order to be saved you must believe the same things the Christ believes. The bible tells us all of what Christ believes so we need to use it as our reference.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4: “Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.”

2. When you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ then you will believe in the way that person lives. Jesus lived an Holy life and you will repent of your past sinful ways and live an Holy life like Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:15 “but as He (Christ Jesus) who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct.” You do not try to live Holy in order to be saved because that is impossible but you will live holy when you are saved by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.

3. When you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ then you will believe in what this person speaks or writes. The words of the Lord Jesus Christ will become what you will want to obey. Salvation is about obedience to a new Master forsaking the devil and obeying the Lord Jesus Christ as your new Master. Whatever Jesus teaches or says you will want to do because you believe on Him. 1 John 2:5 “But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.”

There are many religious people in the church who have just turned over a new leaf and know nothing of who Jesus Christ is. These are counterfeit believers just masquerading as Christians. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved!
