Blood cancer prevention is a very basic process and can be limited to only the non-medical measures if a proper dietary and lifestyle pattern is pursued. Various medical options are also available to prevent growth or re-growth of cancerous polyps in the blood and avoid further health issues. Aspects and Impact of Blood Cancer Prevention Prevention of blood cancer is closely related to lifestyle of a person. Active lifestyle is very advantageous in keeping body cells and tissues active and healthy. It also helps in tackling various disorders right in the developmental stages. Active people are less prone to viral attacks or other infections. People who follow proper dietary pattern are lot safer as compared to those who do not consume nutritious food. Nutritious food is considered to be rich in proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates etc. and performs the important function of providing resources to various cells and tissues. Strong immune system is the key to avoid blood cancer. Efficient functioning of tissues ensures intactness of immune system. Blood cancer is a direct attack on anti-body-generating cells i.e. the white blood cells. Such cells perform the function of supporting immune system by generating hormones responsible for fighting infections or other viral and bacterial attacks. Blood cancer leads to abnormality in such white blood cells and also disturbs the proportion of red blood cells in the blood. Hence, proper prevention technique needs to be executed to keep such cells safe and healthy. Blood cancer diagnosis is an important process of confirming the presence and analyzing the background of malignant cells. It is the first step to know the intensity of cancer. Blood cancer survival rate depends mainly upon the time at which a victim was diagnosed for the disorder. Leukemia can be chronic or acute and both may need different pattern of prevention. Chronic disorder may occur mainly due to long-term illness or work conditions conce ed with that particular person. Over-exposure to chemical radiations and radiations that are emitted during an atomic bomb blast may lead to severe cell abnormalities and make a person prone to cancerous disorder. People exposed to such conditions must go through regular and detailed medical diagnosis to prevent risk of leukemia. Smoking and intake of tobacco can be risky for a person’s health. Consumption of alcohol should also be avoided in order to ensure proper circulation and filtration of blood. Age is an important factor leading to leukemia and people above 50 years should be extra careful about their health issues, especially related to blood. Blood cancer prevention is one of the most vital aspects of blood cancer research. According to latest blood cancer statistics, almost 33% of the total cancer cases detected in children were related to leukemia. Being a fatal disease with survival rate of not more than 50%, one should be aware of the primary causes and symptoms of blood cancer.
