After graduation from Brandeis University, she worked for 16 years as a teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Program, for which she set a number of precedents in the United States: First program offering TM for credit in a public school (Miami, FL); first federally-funded TM training for an agency (Illinois EPA); a weekly syndicated column on TM. In 1986, Rose set out on her own as a teacher. She developed a class based on her unique aura reading method.
