Build Muscle for Skinny Guys - Four Principles To Follow In terms of Bodybuilding
Written by Kevin Hill
It’s not easy for a guy with normal weight to build muscles, so it’s more difficult if the guy is skinny. But still, every skinny guy has different goals and determination when it comes to achieving the muscles that they want. If you are one of those skinny guys, here are five rules to follow in order for you to know the proper way of eating in order to gain muscle for skinny guys.
Don’t linger in the gym
For skinny guys to achieve big muscles, keep in mind that lingering in the gym will not be of help for you. You don’t really need to work that hard in the gym, instead, you must put your muscles to rest because your muscles would grow only when you are resting, and in fact, the skinnier you are, the more rest your body needs. But this does not mean that you just do nothing at all, this only means that you should take more rest in between your workouts and not to put too much effort on your body.
Ditch all those worthless workouts
If your workouts would typically include the usual bicep curls, tricep kickbacks, and leg extensions, etc., well it’s time that you change your workout routine. You are not really require to do all these useless stuffs, and you should make the most of your time in the gym and perform only what’s necessary for you. All you need to do is to focus on compound lifts such as weight lifting exercises like squats, bench presses, deadlifts, rows, as well as military presses.
Eat A Number of Times Each day
You must consume your first meal within 15 to 30 minutes after you wake up in the morning and then eat your meals after 2 to 3 hours of each meal. You might be wondering how many meals you should be eating in a day in order to gain muscle for skinny guys? Just simply divide the time that you are awake into 2 or 3, although it is best that you eat every 3 hours after each meal, so if you are awake for 18 hours each day, then you should have 6 meals for the entire day.
Eat Plenty of Food Varieties
Just like with your workouts where you need to perform different rounds of exercises in order to avoid boredom, you should also eat several varieties of foods each day. Unfortunately, we tend to just eat whatever food that is left on our refrigerator, so the best thing to do is to shop for different healthy foods for each week. Doing this will help to balance out your diet, as well as help you in measuring the response of your body to a variety of foods.
For you to end up a success in your journey to gain muscle for skinny guys, apply these rules in the next 12 weeks, by making sure that you put these into action. Building muscles for skinny guys is really not that hard, since you will have the luxury to indulge into large quantities of food. Follow these rules by heart and religiously follow them, or if you can - make it part of your lifestyle!
