An ecopetrous house is the best house to build. When you build your house on the Rock you will withstand all the storms of life including the final storm--Judgment Day.

When you are sealed you become a house. A house of God. When you are sealed you become a holy temple. A temple that bears the Name of God Himself. Then He will put His Name upon you.

But storms in life happen. And when the storms happen some houses can not withstand them. Some houses are just not built well enough to endure the wind and the rain and the flooding.

The foundation of the house matters. It is what will give the house strength. Jesus said if you build your house on the Rock it will have the strength to withstand all the storm of life which beat against it.

So how do you build your house on the Rock? Hear what Jesus taught. And not only hear it but do it. That is how you build on the Rock. And that is how you withstand the storms of life.

Many teachers profess to be "Christian" but they do not teach what Jesus taught. Many teachers like to teach what the apostle Paul taught or one of the other teachers. Following Jesus is simple but not easy.

In America it is pretty easy to get a Bible and find out what Jesus said. But knowing it and doing it are two different things. And in the case of the teachings of Jesus knowing and doing are very different.

Jesus reshaped the world. He changed the world so much that many peoples in many distant cultures have adopted likenesses of variations of His ideology. A lot of people everywhere in the world today say something like what Jesus said.

But it is not so easy to do what Jesus said. It is a constant struggle. A fight. You must fight against yourself to do what Jesus said. For it goes against your own nature.

To obey Jesus you must fight against two other formidable foes: the world and the devil. Which one is toughest? Yourself, the world, or the devil? It does not matter. When the storm comes you need Jesus.

And the storm often comes in this life. The storm can stress your body until you are exhausted. The storm can stress your thoughts and feelings too until you are past the point where you can endure any more.

That is when you break down. Your house starts to break down. The furious weather beats against your house. Winds blow. Rain falls and flood waters rise. And you wish you had followed Jesus.

That is what happens when you are faced with Judgment Day. God is not in the business of accusing or condemning people. But you have not lived up to His standards. And He will reveal it on Judgment Day.

Nobody alone can please God. And most Christian people can not please God. Their faith is honorable. But they have not done what Jesus said. And it will not please God on Judgment Day.

Jesus wants you to become sealed. Then you will grow closer and closer to God. And when you are sealed you will find it easier and easier to do what Jesus taught. You will build your ecopetrous house on the Rock.

It seems rather odd to refer to any of what follows as secrets. For one thing, the word “secret” implies that something is hidden and the wisdom below is anything but secret. In some form or fashion, you could find these in virtually any spiritual tradition. Second, “secret” implies that the spiritual wisdom that would lead one to the life he/she really wants is really only accessible by a few. And, the unfortunate tendency is not to regard your self as one of the select few. But, of course, you are.
