Can Neuro-Linguistic Programming Change Our Patterns?

Does the way we state things influence the way our brain receives the information? Does our brain need certain components in order to have clarity so that it can process what is being asked of us to an action? Can shifting how we communicate change our behaviors and help us live in greater clarity?

Now many are familiar with the basics of NLP – Nero-Linguistic Programming; however, not everyone is familiar with the foundations of how it works and the potential it has to help us. Basically, as we speak with each other, we either provide or don’t provide what the brain needs to process the communication. This then allows us to receive something with clarity or confusio

Often times, I would say that most people feel that they are very clear in their communications; however, how many of us stop and actually consider if we have spoken clearly without linguistic distortions, specified generalizations, and recovered deleted information in our statements. It is said that when these components are present, that a complete representation of the communication is provided; and that this can then provide therapeutic benefits. It can actually create a trance like state allows the brain to receive suggestions.

Now certainly, this is just one aspect of NLP; and there are many components that can be included with it. However, what is interesting to me is it’s therapeutic effects; it’s ability to transform the patterns that many of us live in both consciously and unconsciously. Imagine being able to treat illnesses, change behaviors that we don’t want, and set forth a path of living that we truly enjoy all through strong communication.

Karen Nipps is one person that focuses on exactly these aspects. She works with people to shift and change the patterns they are in, so that they can live a life that they truly enjoy. She helps them to find a sense of flow in the world through the use of NLP techniques.

I find this work very interesting. Knowing that words and word combinations have vibrations; and those vibrations then can create different results in our lives, it is definitely something to pay attention to. I would tend to say this could strongly connect with the law of resonance and the law of attraction principles.

Could shifting our language really bring a stronger sense of peace into our lives? Could adjusting our communications allow us to release those long standing patterns that frustrate us? How aware are you of your communications and how they affect others?
